Taking weed from Amsterdam to Ireland

I would not be trying to take any weed in it's raw form. I think some here are misunderstanding my intent. Edibles only, and a very small amount, four or five cookies. I would never try sneaking something that looks/smells like cannabis. Just have some junk food in my carry on.

Anyone know if dogs can detect/differentiate edibles?

Taking weed from Amsterdam to Ireland ... yea this wouldn't confuse anyone at all

it wouldnt confuse people if they didnt just read the title but actually read the VERY FIRST POST... i would say sure the dogs can tell where pot is no matter what you do. cooked or not. the thing is you have to fool the handler that they are just normal brownies or cookies i would change the packaging or something but to answer that question yes a dog can smell the herb in an edible.

Find something better to do Robert.

Put the edibles in your carry on (back pack etc) if questioned "i bought them in the airport" play stupid but not too stupid and just make sure there is no leaf emblems or other such markings on the packet but chances are you won't even be stopped, better if its early morning

However, I have had friends who bring back all the time (never been caught yet, touch wood)

Anyways, products needed,

1 x real stinky shampoo

1 x clingfilm

1 x talcom powder

I recommend if your gonna bring anything back, bring HASH not weed..

1) hash is easier to transport

2) It's stronger

3) It doesn't smell as much as weed

What to do..

1) buy your hash

2) wrap your hash really tight and really well with clingfilm

3) Get some really cheap, nasty smelly strong talcum powder...

4) tip a lot of talcum powder over the clingfilm

5) wrap more clingfilm around the previous clingfilm & talcum powder.

6) you have now wrapped up your hash, put in a real cheap nasty, strong smelling shampoo bottle..

7) unwrap & toke

DONT BRING EDIBLES!!!

edibles, eat before you get on plane otherwise very common for people to get caught this way..

Don't play stupid, it has to be the most commonest excuse what they hear... It's pretty dumb advise. (No pun intended)

It's a tough call. I've gone through customs in the past with no problems, but I did have to throw what I had this one time as I spotted a dog. It can happen, but it's not like you're going to Bulgiara or anywhere shady like that where they lock you away for 10 years. So as always, it's at your own risk.

iv brough stuff back from holland to ireland ever time, even hid it in my bike before. taken a plastic bag with 5 brownies thru airports no bother, ul get away with brownies n cakes,
iv gotten away with alot of cheeky smuggling, always to ireland and never a problem, i did get my hair searched once-that was pretty funny cos the weed was goin thru the x-ray as he searched and the dude watchin the screen was starin at me to see if i had stuff hidden in my hair or not.

You should be fine with the edibles but don't try to bring any pot with you. Its risky and not worth going to jail in a foreign country.

Anytime I or a friend has flown out of Amsterdam there was dogs waiting on the catwalk, Can't you find some weed when you get there. How about mail it to yourself. Good luck JR

Just pull a Brokedown Palace move and smuggle it with some hot dumb girl that looks like Claire Danes. Seriously, I've never flown into LGW or anywhere in the UK from Holland, but I have flown to JFK direct twice, and they do look at the AMS arrivals a little cockeyed. As long as your doing something illegal there is always the chance you'll get caught, though.

Just to verify a few things;

1) you wont get locked up in holland for a small amount for 5 grams, if anything does happen which is very slim unless your shouting it about, they will confiscate it.

2) chances of been caught with the method I suggested, are very very slim, it's tried and tested..

3) You wont get locked up in a foreign prison.

4) I have been amsterdam about 15 times, each time the method I suggested has been used and never once caught.

5) Out of the 15 times I have flown to amsterdam, I have seen 7/8 times people getting caught with space cakes etc...

A lot of hen/stag do's bring em back (space cakes etc), so it's a common thing..

If your wise, you will listen to way I suggested or as someone else said mail it back to yourselves..

It's really obvious by the comments made by some users in this thread that they just really don't know what they are doing and having a good stab in the dark as what you to do..

I don't care if you use my method or not to be honest, however I am trying to save you from getting caught..

Forgot to add, they wont be able to see the hash stashed in shampoo thru the scan machines as it's just to dense.

I guess I will have to get there and feel it out.

When I went to Amsterdam with my friend we were both stopped at customs on the way home and searched etc my friend even had his trainers scanned

When we landed home again we were stopped, searched and then they went through both our luggage looking in shampoo bottles and going through all our pockets.

To be fair we were only 18 so that may have been why they thought we were at it.

My advice would be to post it. It's not the best idea to have anything on you, no matter where you hide it.
