taking cutings from a flowering plant

I have a female growing under fluorescent that has been flowering for about a month. Her lower branch buds are tiny to non existant in comparison to the larger buds forming toward the top. Can I snip some off the smaller and use them as clones? I read in another thread this may work. If so, what happens to the little bit of bud growing on them while they root. Once they root can they go back into 24/7 veg light or will they continue growing that bud? New to this and itching to try out cloning. I am also looking to upgrade to hid lighting soon if all goes well!

Yes you can clone them. These will take a bit longer to re-generate veg. The little budz just wither. 18/6 is fine. I use 24/0.

It is possible but will stress your clone. I have only done it 2 weeks into flower. Mine did not have buds on them.
