Taking care of twin plants

I'm on my first grow and it seems like I have twin plants (two sprouts from one seed). Does anybody have experience with this? If so is it ok to grow them in the same pot or do they need to be separated at some point? I've been looking around for pics of two plants maturing in the same pot and I've found only found one example on an outdoor grow (mines is indoors). What should I do??

If they are twins one will probably be a parasitic runt and will need to be cut let them go for a while to see wich one is smaller and chop it so it doesn't hinder the growth of the bigger one
