Hi

I am going to make a grow room within a room that is not used, the floor of the grow room will be covered with polyethene but I'm wondering is there any need to take the carpet up in the room that the grow room is in?

Any advice appreciated

you should be o.k with the carpet under your plastic

videoman keeps a rug in his grow room and his plants look great

Yes polyethene is plastic, like thick black plastic damp proof membrane.

The floor of the actual grow area will be covered with carpet but the room it will be opened up into when im working in there will have a carpet - I guess then if it's kept clean it'll be fine?

Thanks people

There are a million threads that ask that question and a million different answers. Just don't put pics of yourself or anything that can be traced to you.

Yeah, I placed carpet into my grow room, as an insulating factor. My grow room is over a garage that is always colder than my house is. I feel the carpet helps insulate my babies and keep there roots warmer.
Peace
