Tail of the Fox? Check in with my grow. foxtailing, nutrient questions

This is my first grow-
Gorilla 2.5X2X7'
2X Quantum Board 288v2 running at 150W
550-600 umoles at canopy, 18" high
79F 58RH
FFOF soil, FoxFarms Trio
Day 54F (63 since flip)
seed popped Jan 3rd
Caramel Kush by 00 Seeds, heavy Indica

Is this foxtailing? My untrained eye says yes.
Admittedly, I was over-feeding. Instead of once per week I was feeding with every water (every three days religiously, the past two weeks there's been fluctuation four days once, and today I watered on the 2nd day). If this is then overfeeding was the likely cause, right?

Anything I should do differently now? My initial plan was I'd probably be harvesting at the end of the month. Do you think I'll need to go longer? I don't have a loupe or a microscope, how long until I really need one? I need to start looking at options.

Nutrients, as you can see from the schedule I'm tapering down- and the feedings are once per week. Am I tapering down too soon? DSC00565.JPG DSC00567.JPG DSC00568.JPG DSC00569.JPG DSC00571.JPG DSC00572.JPG DSC00563.JPG

Sorry man I can't answer your questions, I am a rookie. Could you please tell me about your fans on the poles, what make and where did you get them? Looks like some killer smoke!

I can't tell for sure how close they are from the pics, but I can tell you to get on eBay and get a 60x pocket microscope. They work great and they're really cheap. A must have if you're going to grow, otherwise it's just a guess when to chop really. They look fairly close, so I'd order one today.

Yes they’re foxtailing. Due to stress. Possibly due to too much nitrogen in flower.

Sounds like I'm too close to the end to make any improvements. I'll use the experience for my second grow for sure. I'm going to grow the same strain once this one is jarred.

You don’t mention temps. I have been using quantum’s since they came out and it was definitely a learning curve. Several issues can create the Fox tailing, ( yours is not bad), personally I found temps and light intensity to contribute to Fox tailing. I grow in small area with height limits so Most of the strains I have grown are not sativa dominant, so runs of 63 days would be maximum. There is very slight tip burn on leaves and no leaf fading, nitrogen levels may well be an issue, also Some leafs are turning upward( praying). When running my quantum room, my plants get nothing but water from day 49 , for me, this gives plant time to useup existing mutes and bigger leafs begin to fade quickly. Your
Plants look great! Foxtailing will really start to ramp up now that the process has started

I've got them at 79F, RH about 58%.
I really thought I'd see more praying from the leaves than I have. I don't know if this means the intensity is too high, but it's only 550-600 umoles at canopy level. During the stretch in early flower I didn't raise the lamp and there was some damage due to the intensity, so I've been hesitant on giving more.

As per my schedule this would be the last week of feeding 5mL/gal each of Grow Big 6 - 4 - 4 and Tiger Bloom 2 - 8 - 4. Should I skip the last feed?

I would lower your temps a bit and RH those are pretty high for late flower. Personally I would say around 72F and under 40% humidity

My bad, missed that u mentioned 79degrees. So it took 3 runs for me on leds b4 I found what worked best. I have had to really turn down the lights. I have one room with 3590 COBs , one with 4 quantum’s and a third with hps. I have tried to stay below 80 , averaging between ( lights out 71), to 77 on. I don’t measure umoles, but in my 2x3 tent my watt draw at plug is 135. Plants turned out perfect. Looking for pics. Can’t tell u what to do about your last feed, as stated I stop mine at day 49, but did use flawless finish the last couple of waterings

72F and under 40% humidity
I can't achieve 72dF without supplemental cooling. We don't even keep it that cool in the house!

I've read so much around here about humidity, especially in flower. I figured I'd keep it controlled as much as I could for this grow and if it got out of hand get a dehumidifier. Supplemental cooling and de-humidification may be in my future, and has been discussed in our household, but I've spent so much on everything else I'm trying to balance my hobby and my wife's acceptance.

Wait, you have three separate growing areas, what is in the 2X3 tent pulling 135W?
My two quantums are dimmed to 150W actual draw. I wonder if I'm running a bit too high... Too bad we can't talk the same language as far as PAR umoles etc. I wish the Apogee were cheap enough that everyone had one.

flawless finish
What's in Flawless Finish? I looked around on the AN website and they don't list the ingredients. I wonder if it isn't based on a Yucca extract like Fox Farms Sledgehammer. I use that every water and feed, at the same 10mL/gal as full flush.

Update on my garden, the leaves are turning color now. She's due for watering today, and I decided not to feed. My loupe is in route.

I took a bunch of pictures. I'm excited to be this close to harvest! The past few weeks have been a bit boring just maintaining the environment. During veg it seemed like there was always a change that I needed to make (not all were correct) due to this being my first grow. Anyway I took a bunch of pictures as kind of a celebration of the end.

I agree with 70’s post it’s just the bud structure, maybe a few arguable buds but for the most part just looks like nice weed

You want to see some Tails.. Throw her some KoolBloom the last two weeks. Stuff Stresses them big time!

Lol that's ok. I'm already stressing over what I have. Looking forward to closing this run and learning the harvest/dry/cure/store process so I can start the next. I'm going to drop another seed of the same strain to see the difference in the grow.

It's magnesium EDTA and magnesium sulfate / epsom salts mixed with water. A big money maker for AN.
