Aaahh! Another fellow Tahoe OG Kush Fan! Thanks for stopping by! House and Garden is very easy to use, and I love their line. However, I have issues when I start using Shooting Powder because it burns the shit out of my plants. I use half the recommended dosage and sometimes less dependent on the strain. This time around, I am already having slight nute burns on one of my babies. I might even have to lower the recommended dosage for my Tahoe during the whole feeding cycle! Tahoe is such a bitch! But shes beautiful!

Everything is looking good with the ladies. Growing secondary shoots left and right. Been training the ladies in the SCROG screen already, trying to spread her legs in the trellis. Only issue is the nute burn on the bigger plant, actually the smaller one actually is catching up and looks pretty sexy herself. Ive been going with the full strength recommendation from the House and Garden Nutrient Calculator. Obviously this is only a guideline for recommended doses. I decided to drop from full strength to 80% strength when I feed tomorrow morning. HOpefully this will stop the nute burns. Nothing major, otherwise I would flush these ladies and start with a lower dose right away. I like to push my plants to the recommended dosage first, because every strain is different. Tahoe OG, is delicate and I have to lower the nute strength. Better safe than sorry. My temps have been around 77 degrees on average with a Humidity of 40%. PH is at 6.0 to 6.2 when feeding, I usually aim for 6.2 and hover a little above 6. No nute lockout regardless, just a little hot on the nutes. Will adjust for the future. Live and learn!

Everything is looking healthy besides the nute burns on the original bigger plant. Ironically, the small runt has overtaken the bigger plant to be healthier, more tolerant to full strength feeding, and more closely tight nodes. The original bigger girl, is lankier and is anoerxic, meaning she doesn't like to eat full strength. She threw a temper tantrum and some of her older fan leaves have signs of nute burns. I have adjusted the feed to 80% and hopefully I will observe no more nute burns in the picky bitch. Anyways, we are here at day 29 with sexy secondary shoots reaching for the screen. Ive been spreading them apart so the smaller shoots can have direct light and hit the screen. I have approximately about 13 more days before I was planning to start flower. I think we should be on track here once I got the feed down. Can't wait to fill up this huge screen! The wait will be well worth it during flower!

Hello there! So after adjusting my nutes down to 80% strength (820 PPM) we are back in business! No nute burns on the new developing leaves. Of course the burnt leaves will stay burnt, but Im only concerned with my future growth anyways. Speaking of future growth, everyday I am encountering new sexy sets of leaves. The ones that are teeny weeny in the beginning of the day, are full grown by lights on the following day. Good signs that my ladies are finally happy and now are growing. I have approximately 10 days left of veg, or so I planned. Based on the growth of the ladies, I think that is a good estimate. Ill tell you what, you have to have some patience when you are trying to fill up a SCROG screen this big from clone. What I should be doing is vegging some bitches right now and top them constantly until these girls are done. Then I would throw them in this tent, move some nodes around and flower within 7-14 days. Maybe during flower I will start this up! I have an extra 300w LED and a 3 x3 and 4x4 tent chilling.

Here are some pics of the ladies at day 36. The screen is filling up nicely, and I have to train the girls everyday into the screen. It is taking a little longer than I expected to fill up the screen, so I think I might have to Veg longer than 42 days. I have not seen any more nute burns since I have reduced the strength to 80%. Everything is looking sexy, just the waiting game!

Everything is looking great, thanks for the update!

On a side note, I went to Disney World a few years back and brought some of my homegrown Tahoe OG Kush with me. I think it was the first year it was released or something.

However, it smelled so strong that a few joints were in a sealed prescription bottle. The bottle was wrapped in a baggy or two and placed in a toiletry container and put into a locked safe in the hotel closet.

When we got back from walking the parks all day, I remember my wifes sister coming into the room and asking us if I had just smoked pot because the room smelled so much of it (she was not a cannabis user, so I am sure she did not know the difference between smoked/non smoked smells).

I laughed and said no I just have some incredibly strong weed locked in the safe. She couldnt believe it.

LoL, Tahoe is easily some of the best I have ever had.

Wow! That sounds about right Snafu! Sounds like you grew some bomb shizz! I am looking forward to my favorite stage of growing, late bloom! That is when all I do is stick my head in my tent and just stare at all those rock hard buds smelling that lemon funk till I get dizzy! Hopefully I get over a pound of this delicious Tahoe! Taking a lot of patience before I flip these girls to Flower. I know at the end it will alllll be worth the wait! I know these ladies really stretch bad during flower, up to 3x during late bloom. Im taking it day by day, but I definitely want this screen filled in more! Thanks for following this slow journal!

Nothing really much to report today. Only thing different today was I went from feeding 1/2 gallon per plant, to 1 gallon per plant week 6 nutes @80% strength. Wanted some pics with the lights off, so I turned off the LEDs for this pic. Usually at this time of night, about an hour before lights out, they start looking tired and are not as perky as during the day. Anyways, these pictures don't show how really green and sexy the leaves are already. The flash kind of drowns out the color. The girls are actually pretty stinky already, when I rub any fan leaves, I can smell that distinct OG funk! Goodnight!

So, I was aiming for today to start flowering but I have a little more ways to go. I know this strain stretches a lot, so Im sure I could fill in all the missing spots during flower. But, I rather take my time and wait a little longer and hopefully that will all pay off! Today marks 6 weeks of Vegging. From the looks of things, I might need to go another 7 to 10 days to fill this screen up 70%. Filling up a 4x4 Scrog screen definitely takes some patience! Luckily this is a personal grow, and not one for commercial! If I were to have 4 plants in this tent, I definitely would be flowering by now. But reaching waaaay back in the tent to train and prune would be such a pain in the ass! Next time Ill just start vegging while these ladies are flowering to save some time! On another note, I haven't gotten anymore nute burns on any new growth, so at least I got that part down. The ladies are sexy and healthy. Very green and thick branches and the main stem is now becoming a tree trunk! Love it! So here are some new pics to help me monitor the progress of this grow. Hopefully during flower all you viewers won't be so quiet out there!

Here are some pics right at lights out tonight. As you can see the nute burns have stopped and everything is looking sexy and green! Getting impatient waiting for these 2 ladies to fill up this screen a little more! I keep telling myself that my yield will be way bigger and I will have done the right thing if I wait just a little longer! I am hoping to flip to 12/12 in 7 -10 more days max! Then I have to wait another 10 weeks before I can smoke this dank up!

Here are some pics after a quick tucking session into the SCROG screen. Im still a significant way from filling the screen 70% at least. Im planning to veg till day 56 now. I know this strain is very stretchy and Im sure during the "stretch" phase of bloom I will be able to fill in most of the screen. Tahoe OG stretches up to 3x the amount by the 3rd week of Flowering. The good news is I will have ample space to organize all the bud sites into even height, without running out of room. I will start vegging my next grow when this one starts flowering. I will be able to top numerous times, and really get a jump start on bushing out the plants.

I hope so! Sounds good! First time growing this Tahoe OG, but I know it stretches like a mofo! I think my decision to induce flowering on Day 56 isn't such a bad idea. 8 weeks vegg and topping? Took lots of patience! Still have another 10 weeks for flowering too, but at least that is the fun part right?

But is always soooo worth it. I run perpetual and used to put the plant into the flower tent no matter what. Never again. Now I switch them when they're good and ready, screw the schedule. So good call, for both you and your viewing public :). Should be a sugar festival so get ready to make some hash/edibles/whatever. Best of Luck Sleezy1!

Thanks Fran jan! I decided since this tahoe increase in height 3x, that I will start flowering this Saturday, day 52 of vegg! I'm sure ill fill up the screen by the third week of flower and have a nice canopy.the countdown to flower begins!

So Im pretty much tired of vegging, and I am gambling on my research on this strain, to start flowering tomorrow. I am hoping that during the first three weeks of flowering I will get some monster stretching and growth, and I will be able to utilize my SCROG screen and really spread out these girl's legs. Im hoping to fill up most of the screen. Growing a strain the first time around takes some experimenting, so thats what I gotta do. Ive been keeping my ppms around 928, any more than that burns these ladies. This Tahoe is really sensitive to nutes, so I will feed her moderately from now on. So tomorrow is the big day! Flower Day 1! These ladies look pretty monstrous already, and I hope I timed my flowering at the right time. I have been taking copious notes on my journal, so future grows with this strain will be easier for me to dial in. Sit back and enjoy FLOWER TIME!:leaf::clap:

I love a long veg, especially during a selection so you can really fuck with them, but you definitely look ready to rock!
