Taco leaves, some discoloration

I have 4 plants in the 4x4. 1 blueberry cupcake, 1 Cinderella Purple, and 2 Bag of Oranges.

The first 2 plants are happy as can be. The 2 BOO plants are growing well, but they have had taco leaves for some time. Some of them have discolored and gotten crispy.

The light is a phlizon 640w bar light. It was running at 100% for several weeks. When I first noticed the issue, I turned it down to 500w. That didn't seem to make any difference. I have since turned it down to 400w. Still not seeing a noticeable difference. The light is maxed out on height. It is 18" above the highest BOO cola. 22" above the highest taco'd leaves.

@curious2garden pointed out that it does look a little like boron deficiency. I searched and it seems as if that is a pretty rare occurrence, but I did make a small adjustment to the feed. I use the B1 and B2 nutes from Floraflex. I feed at ~730ppm and 6.0pH +/- I saw that the B1 has the boron in it, so I bumped it up from 2.5 to 3g per gallon and dropped the B2 from 2.5 to 2g per gallon to see if there is any noticeable change. No luck. I also bumped the fertigation up from every 6 hours to every 4 hours to maybe help with rh and maybe the plants were getting dry between feeds. No real discernible change noticed from that either.

Other than some minor fungus gnats, I see zero bugs.

So I come here today to ask if anybody has dealt with this and do you have any suggestions.

Did you try raising the light?
I did write a small bit about the light in the op but just looked and it was not included for some reason. So, here goes again. Lol

I wouldn't worry about this or fixing it unless it reoccurs. I'd just roll through to the end. They'll make it.

This is ultimately the plan, I am just really curious as the obvious suspects have made no difference.
I don’t see how they would un-taco themselves?

Only in veg would you see a direct result of changing variables.

It was most likely too much light then never recovered.

I did see a few years ago a member called renfro (I think) found the wrong pH causes the leaves to taco. Once corrected they grew normally but the damaged leaves didn’t repair.

Ride it out and see how the younger one fairs :)

Oh and the crispy edges up top is most likely too much K getting into the leaves.

Could be simply environment related. If humidity dropped to 30-40% then the increased transpiration draws more moisture into the leaf. With moisture comes nutrients and K burns the leaf edges up top.

If deficient the lowest leaves yellow, burn at the edges with intervienal chlorosis

Your issues are from light stress - you already mentioned you maxxed light on them for “ weeks “ … the leaves show tacoing / leaf edges and tips- bleaching / plus ( to me ) the dead giveaway ( abnormal / knobby growth of flowers ).

Unfortunately problems were from your hand.

Even if you rope back power - what done is done.
Ride it out as best you can - at worst clip the most necrotic leaf off.

Ph issue during the grow can cause this and genetics play a large roll. Some strains are just more sensitive than others. When I tun multiple strains in one scrog you can really see the difference.

Strange how the most uper leaves arnt as burned as the uper big ones which would be the case for led lightburn, along with yellowing ect. Do you have a ocilating fan in the tent as that green one in the corner looks one directional. It could be wind burn from hot air blowing all day at those two plants directly infront of them ( the one especialy to the right all the damage is like right in line for air blowing from that fan). Do you have a fan taking out the air and a fresh air in take.
It also looks like you might of been over feedin pk or some form of bloom booster. That plant in the back left corner has gone almost blue on top and has lots of burnt tips and it shooting out that growth out the buds.

Passive intake, 6" exhaust fan venting outside, the green fan and the one opposite it are both oscillating.

Thanks, sounds like your doing all you can. The other purple plant towards the front looks better though bud production seems decent on the 3. Looks like your near enough done now so i wouldnt wory too much. See how you get on with your next grow.

Using the photone app rawdog with no printer paper over the lens (I'm not sure what the proper procedure is) the BOO plants are reading 520-530 ppfd and the bbcc at the same height is around 400ppfd. The bbcc is around 15,000lux and the 2 BOO plants are 19,500 and 20,300 or so.

Do those numbers tell anything? I have no idea what is ideal.

Go to Staples or whatever local copy shop and ask to buy 1 sheet of 24# bond paper. Cut a single strip and wrap around camera and tape (I use a 1" strip cut and taped around my phone it slides on and off). Try it with that @Laughing Grass can give you the numbers ;D

It's only.getting 730-750ppm. I think it was at 800 for a bit. That seems pretty light to begin with. But it's a definite possibility.
Yeah, I haven't grown Boo in a year or two, but both indoor/outdoor required very little attention when it came to feed. I run a water only soil and there was hardly any fade with the Boos.. Unlike other strains I've grown.

Your ppfd seems in range, its actualy on the slightly lower side, but what ever works to keep them good goes. Plants grown under strong led light get used to ppfd numbers better than a plant thats grown under diffrent light and then is brought in under strong led light. So you light seems ok.
I cant tell from the picture as i cant see anything the fan can swivel side to side on in the picture. Are you sure that fan atomaticly canges direction and sweeps air corner to corner in the tent. Sorry i had to ask again as i couldnt see in the picture.
