Table time!! Who is using trimtable's and what are they?

Ok peeps.
I am wondering who is using the table and what table is it?
I am thinking about getting one and was wanting to get pointers on the best one.

Do you need to take off the sun leaves before you trim?

Which one is the best all around? Economical, heavy duty, problem free, most user friendly?

Automatic or manual?

Samurai? Trimpro? are there any others out there that are worth a shit?

Lets get this thread started!:mrgreen:
Thanks in advance.

I'm assuming you mean an automatic trimmer. I've never personally used one, but I've heard good things about both the Aardvark and Spinpro.

I've also have been thinking how easy it would be to simply make your own by modifying one of those generic circular charcoal BBQs by adding a heavy duty, fast fan and using like some chicken wire or something. Or I guess just modifying say a swamp cooler.

Anyway, for what it's worth I recently went to Oaksterdam and saw a Trimpro for sale that had been marked down multiple times. Seems like they really wanted to just get rid of it. Didn't bother to ask if it was so cheap (it was going for like a few hundred bucks) because no one wanted them or what. Anyway that's about all I know about them.

This is what I use...What's nice about it is you can have up to 8 trimmers sit around it...

Couldn't resist

Well I have the Trimpro Rotor.
We have become comfortable calling it the poor mans automatik.

First the construction is impeccable.
Real solid. good motors. everything comes apart as stated.
Works very well.

Second the costomer service.
This unit was in my hands 4 days after my card was charged.
As u all know, in this industry, snappy delivery is unheardof.
Very happy peeps when I called,
I WIIL DO BUISNESS WITH THESE GUYS AGAIN!!!!

Third the testing.
This machine was tested on my early outsy harvest.
Cherry Limes, BC AK47, BigBhudda Cheese, and a single HashSpice.
I dont know total weights as none of the above has made it through the cureing stage. ( I only weigh after the cure. )

The machine came together in a thick cardboard box. When we pulled it out it went right were it is in the photo's.
No bags needed, all the trim goes on the table, when your full you move the unit over and scoop up the trim and into paper bags for drying. ( HASHHHHH )

When using the unit you must wear safty glasses, there is no lid to this unit and it spits up all the time. Launching as little as stems and as big as big buds up and out of the trimming area.
It has leather hands that move the meds around in the tub. While this is going on, there is a lawnmower blade under the rack that is spinning fast enough for you to really pay attention to it. ( lol. really fast ).

You will grab about a handfull of meds and slowly drop it into the tub. ( Not to much or you will bind it up)
I found it will take up to an oz of little buds or about 20G of big buds. ( none longer then 4 inches long )
Then watch it for about 1 to 2 min tops. Open the door and the buds fall out in to your catching bowl.( mine is a trash can )

Then into the drying racks.
All in all I will give this unit 4 stars.
You do have to clean in every couple of pounds or so. ( I clean it about every other tree. )
You have to stand there and monitor everything.
So you dont have to sit and trim at a table:hump:, but you dont get to leave the unit.
The buds come out great, thats not to say you wont be doing a little QC, but hey you didnt have to trim out all the weight you would have had to.
Messy, the machine shoots out little bits of trim and stuff, so there will be cleaning.

I wont go back. In fact I will prolly buy an Automatik this next year. Keep the Rotor at the shop, and an Auto at the ranch.

For me this was a wonderful investment, and if you have the need you wont regret it.
It will prolly go through a pound in 35 min total. So if thats the speed you need then check this out.

Hope this helps peeps.
Gotta get back to work though, so lemme know what you think.
