ok so i got this T8 "grow light" from lowes today and im wondering if i can use it to replace all or at least some of my daylight cfls (currently using 5 bulbs) the box wont tell me what K it is but it emits a purpleish light from it. i assume you can put them fairly close like 2-4in but how deep does it penetrate the canopy? Pics too of new light and current thing goin on.
the photo with the light on may not look too purple looking but in real time it is. and the camera went weird and made it look like night time when it was actually bright as hell in my room. my photography skills are not up to par lol. and my camera battery just died so im not redoing them! lol
