T5HO Question

3500K hmm.. dunno I have a mix of 2700K and 6500K in my 6 tube T5HO fixture ..

but I don't see why not, some grow from seed to harvest with 2100K HPS and a lot just use 5000K tubes all grow, but I wonder how much of the right spectrum light they will get and how much of each kind ?

think the adding a few 2700K to each in flowering would be a good move ..
and remember to keep the plants small/low and bushy (LST/TOP/FIM) and keep them T5HO tubes with in 2-4 inch`s of the buds ..

Thanks.. been doing LST, Top, Fim for a while now under 250 CMH. I like to keep them short and fat..

you know tubes is`t that expensive and specially T5HO last a long time with littel light lost over time ..

so I would go for a few 2700K for each .. maybe also a few 6500K and mix em all up good ..

maybe 4 of each with 4 of them 3500K aswell ..
can just safe and use them "extra" 3500K later on when the one you run get older (dark ends)

I payd sumthing like 40$ with shipping for 4x6500K 49W T5HO if your short on money get the 6500K fist and get the 2700K next month when you also have to flower em ..

atlest how I would do it .. fixtures will still be cheap and a good buy and the 8 spare 3500K you get is`t a waste .. will cover you for a few years if you add some 6500k/2700K aswell ..

or just grow Auto`s and add only 2700K to the 3500K ?

I honestly don't know what % improvement you get from 3,500 down to 2,700. I don't think math applies here in terms of % of K difference.
If you have the extra bucks to throw at it, if anything it might make you feel better
