I'll buy the other 2, tomorrow. If i get a chance if not friday, saturday .

Always use a mix of red and blue.. plants use more red than blue.. but as long as it is light.

I doubt my 216w of T5's will compare anywhere close to the 600w of my HPS.

It would take a lot of T5's to produce as much light.

Maybe not 100% the same but pretty damn close of source you cant have nothing like a 6footer under a T5 but a good 2-3ft of bud will work just fine for me

thx everyone good to know its a good deal i will use it for two mothers and eight clones i have a 1000w hps light. but i have order it with the veg lights will they be ok?

my boy uses a 4ft 8bulb t5 and mixes his bulbs threw his entire grows and gets great results. It doesnt compar to flowering under HPS but he says it doesnt have to for him cause it yields him plenty and he doesnt sell....So I say why deal with the heat and expense of a big HPS unless u need huge yields

well guys just got the bulbs in so this is what it looks like if you didnt know lol

yes sir thats it, i just got mine up and i love it. seems so much easier to control temps with and I love how I can lower it just above the plaints if i need to with ease. make sure you hang it so that you can easily bring it closer or further away from your plants with ease. I these special light fixture hangers from my grow shop and they work great. LOVE the t5, i have a 400 hps ready for flowering but so tempted to do my whole grow with the t5 and just mix the ballast with both blue and red spectrum lights........ i know they say the yield is greatly reduced but I have seen tremendous grows on here with t5's and i only need enough bud for me,LOL k sorry for the tangent
