T5 with mother and clones Question

Hello!

It's my first serious grow, and I'm setting up a SOG operation now. I prepared 4'x4'x4' cabinet for the mother plant area will be increased as i will need 2-3 mothers for proper supply of cuttings. I am thinking of giving her T5 tubes 6500K and 5000K mixed, most likely 39W (849mm in lenght). I guess for the max 3 pcs mother plants it will be enough to light them with 6-8 pcs of those tubes. Also with this qty of lamps i can put some on the sides aswell to propagate the developing of lower branches which I read to be easier to clone/root. Also I plan to put the cuttings in the same cabinet, meaning both my mother plant and my clones will get 20 hrs of light 4 hrs of darkness. Is it a good idea to root and veg them under these circumstances?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Yes it's fine, for your clones you'll want higher humidity and lights much closer to negate stretching. Find a plastic clear dome to put over your cuttings keep them moist and you're golden

First of all thank you for the input! I really appreciate it. Second could any of the gurus take a look at the pictures of the lower part of my clones. After 10 days in, no result. I use rockwool with Clonex. Rockwool was kept soaking wet during the whole time. Shall i get rid of them or wait more?

Yup, i dont think embolism has happened, i was careful when making cuttings. The thing is none of the 8 clones i cut for tests had developed any small roots. I guess i give them 10 more days, and see what happens. Until then as a test i try 2 pcs clones with nothing but 6.0 PH water.
