t5 growers I could use some advice plz

that is zonly forthe hid ballest and its only beecause they put out so many rf waves if your running t5 you should be fine but it yourr running hid ide suggest the magnetic ballest

whats that?

some digital ballest for hid lights emmit high radio frequencis (r.f) these waves mess with the cable and internet wires if they are not properly sheilded that can cause your internet to have problems ending in the cable company getting involved
the radio test is u put a radio by your digi ballest and put it on a am station that is clear if the ballest is on and the radio gets staticky then it is not rf sheilded and should not be by any cable or internet wires if the ballest is on and the radio is still clear its ok
they use am stations becayse they are more sensative to interferience than fm but fm will still work just not as well

i had no idea.............. i use t5s i got a bunch of em ...........i have no trouble w my internet or radio.........but i dont listen to the am band..............

you shouldnt have a problem with the t5 its mainly h.i.d. ballests (digi) mag are fine they wont do that

i want to start my autos or my mothers now wile im waiting to get my new 4ft 4 bulb t5 and tent i have a space in my closet i can grow in its where my 150 hps is set up i know the 150 wouldnt be good for starting the babys cuz the intencity of the light (or is it ok to do )

Would this light be good to start a few babies under after farming for a few Weeks wile I wait for the tent and new t5 fixture I'm getting after the 1st
also what is a good temp to germ with and a good way to germ I know a few ways but would like a decent way that is almost guaranteed

use all the lights, mixed would be my advice i used to use my ceramic mh for veg then switch to a hps for flower , now the cmh stays on for the entire grow i just add the hps once i switch to 12/12

i just think the hps would be to bright for the baby i mean itll keep the soil warmer than the t5 light cuz when i first used that light the soil was usualy cool and i know thats not good for the seedling so maby i could use the 150 hps

T5s do not cause hermies. plants love T5s, although they suck for flowering yield vs HIDs.... u need new genetics. and seedlings can live under HID light with a humidity dome.

ya ive been doin a bunch of reading and no light or stress can sccualy cause hermis its the genetics of the plant even if you buy fem or reg seeds the only way your gonna get a hermi is if somewhere down its genetic line there was a hermi

teck lights have les lumens than4ft bulbs but they work great in a 2ft by 2 ft area and are a little more effiecient than 2ft f24 bulbs Ihave a two bulb tek light i use fur vegging my test grows and am very happy with it
