T5 +CFL or T5 + LED

Hey Ya'll,
Which do you think would be the better choice for flowering? Cabinet is 2x2x5. On back panel, left side and right side will be 48" 2 bulb (3000k) T5 HO light fixtures (10,000 lumens each panel). Above I am looking at either one 90 watt UFO LED or four 35 watt CFL bulbs; each in a 10-inch reflector, 2700K, and 2400 lumens. Looking at four plants which will be moved from veg box to cabinet.
Ideas?
Thanks!

Hey,
Thanks for the reply and thanks for sending the link. I would have room for two of those which would put out 16,000 lumens which is more than the four 65w cfl's I was considering. I keep reading good things about the LED full-spectrum lights and didn't have a lot of luck with an attempt at a cfl-only grow (due to the inexperience of the grower) so I'm trying to get the most light without going the hps route. With the T5 HO lights, do you think I should 3000k bulbs all the way around since I plan to continue using cfl for veg?
Thanks!

why not just another 2' 2 bulb T5 HO fixture above them?

Keep in mind that hps is not the enemy. The heat is easily manageable and usually works together with your air exchange in such a tent. A 400w CMH system would put out a little less heat and produce some sweet bud on the cheap. Outputs around 40,000 lumens. T5s get hot too and are harder to precisely cool.

Check out growledhydro.com for some good led lights. They are about as cheap as you want to go if you want to grow more than cotton balls.

just from a cost standpoint the cfls make more sense. i have flowered with t5 above and cfl on the side and it was very effective for me. i'm not saying the led might not work just as well or better, but the cost per gram is going to be a lot higher initially with the led. not sure if that's what you meant but it's my 2 cents.

Thanks for the input. After weighing the options I think I'm going with the T5+LED combo. I will put a grow journal up when the lights arrive. Thanks again!
