System vs Yield

Hi everyone, I'm new to the group and have a few general questions on which way to go/grow. My wife and I both recently got our MM licenses and I'm ready to start my grow. Do to limited space, I'm looking to grow in my existing bathroom using our garden/roman bathtub area which is 3'6" x 5', using the tub as a reservoir (50 gal. capacity) Therefor building my own system.

My two choices on system designs are a GY EuroGrower 8 type bucket system or going with an Aeroponic (12-14) 3" netpots and building a manifold that fits the tub area.

Here's my dilemma, since I'm growing for 2 which system has the potential for growing the highest yields in my limited area. I was told to stick with a bucket system since I'm a newbie but then I read as long as you filter/screen your pump and maintain your micro sprinklers, Aeroponics is the way to go. (bigger yield, shorter grow time, cheaper elect. & nutes)

I'd appreciate some insight from any experienced growers before I go ahead with my design.

Thanks Again

both can grow massive yield plants, it's more to do with what lights, nutes, temp, humidity and amount of care you give.

bubble pot is a lot easyer and cheaper, leavin more money for lights/fans/nutes

Okay, So if we standardized the baseline of all the other factors (lighting, nutes, temp, etc), Aeroponics/bubbleponics would be the way to go considering yield vs area?

It's still more complex than that. Read Al B FAQt's sticky thread in the Advanced cultivation. For the money and the yield I like DIY bubbleponic and then do some kind of SOG setup. Depending on how you prune or LST your pants will affect the yield. SOG style is probably your best yield per square area.
