Syringes ???

Got my spores today from spores101. It's going to be a few days before i can get started.
How do i store the syringes ? do i toss them in the fridge ? How long can i store them in the fridge ?
 
Fridge..depends on the day the sporeprint was taken as to expiration...next time have your shit in a pile before you finish wiping...mycology is a precise science and time/environment/patience is EVERYTHING.good luck on your venture..what strain you gonna fruit?
 
The butter tray in the fridge is the best spot for many reasons..safety and seclusion from bacteria being 2
 
if your going to use them in days it really doesnt matter...i just stick them in a room temp dry dark place same as beans
 
Start a Liquid Culture before doing anything. I know it's tempting to just start a bunch of PF jars, but getting a viable LC down is really the start of everything.

I ordered B+ from spores101. Really good deal and they sent me 2 syringes. Bonus ? Or do they alway do that for the first order ?
This is my first time so it's going to take a few days to get everything together and i only want to go with 5 or 6 jars to start. So
i want to store the rest for future ventures.
 
Spores101 had a big oyster contamination in there cubesnis spores not too long ago.

Hopefully you didn't get one.

I agree with Taviddue.
LC's are great but you need to make sure the LC is 'clean' so you need to test it on a jar.
 
I read that they where ok suppliers. I ordered 1 of there B+ and they sent me 2 so I was really impresed. Now i'm starting to worry though. But i'm going to give it the old college try and see what happens. I'll post if something goes wrong.
 
Word out now is micro-supply has the best deals and strains.haven't dealt with them...allways ordered from the hawks eye
 
Yes, liquid cultures and probably more than one. I've found the most important thing is temperature. If thats not right, nothing else will work right.
 
Chances are you will be returning those to spores101 for a refund. They sell the lousiest syringes in the game. Many are straight distilled water.
 
I've had syringes that were viable as long as two years after I got them, and all I did was put them in a plastic bag in a dark cool place.
