i use great white to get my rez teeming with life... it's packed full of microbes, beneficial bacteria and mychorrizae. Its the SHIT! Advanced nutrients makes tarantula, voodoo juice among others that all have beneficial bacteria, etc. in them...

Don't know much about it but its available in several different applications. I recently used a mix for the first time that had mycorrhizae already in it and the plants seemed to like it and I will be buying more. From what I've read too people say it makes a worthwhile/noticeable difference.

I'm interested in trying Canna coco soon as well because its unique and has trichoderma to help root health/growth. Multiple fungi and lots of organic matter has to be very healthy for root systems right?

I dont know but it would be really nice if someone would grow the same strain in the same exact conditions with the one difference being half are given Mycorrhiza and half arent. Then we could compare with pictures and yield.

just make sure your water isnt chloronated in any way if your going to use benficials. No H202 either

Ahhhh i never thought about that usually ive just been using tap water that i leave out over night. Does this get rid of all the chlorine? How do you guys get unchloronated water?

Ahhhhh sorry for the repetition then. I was looking for a more controlled experiment that compared with fungus to without. Do you have a link to a thread like this???

They're all over, check the organic section. No problem though, I'm just sort of chippy by nature.

I used to use Great White and I had really good success with it. I was just thinking about switching back to it and the whole concoction I used with it. I switched to all Advanced just to see what the difference would be with all Advanced product's. Was not impressed with results from all Advanced Nut's. Gonna give it one more go around since I have already bought the stuff but, don't think I will pay outrageous Advanced Nut's prices again!

There really is no need, unless you want to deprive some plants. I've been using it in my garden and container plants long before I started growing MJ again.

Organic gardeners have been using it for years and it does occur naturally in good soils. Just helps to inoculate your plants and help it along.

I am currently growing 5 Romulans, 3 plants I used Myco-Grow, and 2 with ZHO from Bontannicare. 3 Weeks into flower, and so far, the 3 Myco-Grow, are larger by about 1/4th & healthier looking overall. Maybe not Scientific, but this is my observation so far.

Depends if your local water uses good old chlorine, or the modern chloramines. You can call your local Authority Having Jurisdiction and they will be able to tell you what they use.
Chloramines dont evaporate out of the water.

"The microlife can come back after most problems, as long as the problem wasn't you adding synthetic nutrients, because that kind of soil-mix damage is close to permanent, regarding it's ability to support microbial life in the future, in containers. Otherwise, it takes about 10 days for the microbeasties to come back and reach a good balance/equilibrium, as per my observations."

So he's basically saying that if you're not using organic stuff like fish emulsion or teas and just using petroleum base nutes (which almost all are), what's the point of using Great white or ZHO...?

If you want the best mychorrizie go to your local hydroponics store and ask for local product. I sell this stuff called benefox that is brewed 20 miles from me and nicely packaged. Plus its brewed weeks before I sell it instead of sitting in a warehouse for 2 years like others.

Get your fungus fresh. or else cough up the dough for canna. fresh is better though

#1. Some one needs to do a SEARCH before starting a new thread. I started a very comprehensive one over a year ago.

#2. The fungus is dormant. Whether or not it is useful for an annual is up for debate, as my thread suggests.

Theres nothing wrong with saying stuff twice. I didnt read about it recently in here. No sense in digging through old threads for everything if it can re-explained and updated. And i love benefox for my hydroponics. It noticeably heals root systems. It worked so well Big Mike got ahold of some and called and told the owner he likes his stuff and it works miracles. Since hes local, its kinda of cool to watch a product take off and become licensed by a big company. Hes like a local legend.
