Only a handful on RIU can beat me in a fan leaf health and size comp anyway and yes I have an idea of the solo cup plants life and what it is experiencing.

All those clones and the 4 seeds will turn out fine id say. But thanks for your trolling concern. Cannot debate with so turn to insults. Speaks volumes about you two young fellas. Biggest grow ive done was a 50 plant guerrilla by myself way back in '92 or '93. You? I've never claimed to be a top notch grower and I'm not afraid of posting pics of what i've got going on. No one should be.

Your plants look very very stressed, yes you grow bud but your not in the same league as me, keep em green and maybe you'll be a step closer to some of us, i can only guess at the mistakes your making there...
And none of this has anything to do with the fact that leds do not outgrow any other lights and led growers keep on keep on giving bs info on these boards like that 'they grow a third more' or 'they grow the same for 40% less electricity' whilst totally ignoring the obvious from all other growers.
Your not nice members, your not knowledgeable members and some of you struggle so bad to grow healthy plants i would not think you have gained any experience except how to stress plants and make them turn yellow, purple and crispy. I have worked many hard years to avoid my grow looking like yours and as such am obviously a better grower and poster of info.
You dont want to discuss why leds fail to prove their facts and you dont want to discuss any science that picks on obvious problems of why they fail to prove their facts either so i leave you lot to discuss which led is the best this month

It's my fault I brought up the solo cup comp.
I like his grow and look forward to watching his grows develop in the future.
Good thing you don't want to compare the healthiest biggest fan leaves with me because your not in my league.
You could post a pic and set me straight. Would take me 10 seconds after seeing a pic to post one or a thousand.
Game Over. Go back to talking about the topic, switching to LED from HPS.
Talk is cheap. Pictures speak a thousand words and take less time to post than words.

This is about a 3 on a scale of 1 - 10 of my best fan leaves.

Im going to have to disagree. I think dude is a good gardener. Everyone one of us losses color to leaves and get bad fade from time to time in late flower. He has some nice pics early in his journal of him vegging and some topped plants that look top notch.God if i have to post more pics of plants this year for demanding newbies...

Posting pictures of some other plant somebody else grew at some other time does not detract from the fact that the pictures of plants you posted that you were currently growing look like shit.

Funny how the only two who say what great growers they are and are nit picking others grows wont post. King, I seem to remember posted one shot along time ago of two plants vegging with a 250w or 400w HID and a very small, just flowering plant with slightly burnt tips. From memory he has only ever grown the one strain Skunk#1. He must be unaware that some plants are not green naturally in flower, like Black Dog pictured further up the page....Taco I think once posted a stressed out seedling,,,

I'll just toss some gas on this fire and say that I switched to LED from HID and then right back to HID within a couple of weeks. I tried to get the LED into my trash can but it wouldn't fit so I beat it with a 4-lb drilling hammer until it would fit because I could not in clear conscience do anyone the disservice of giving them a cheap LED.
Normally I do without if the only way I can afford something is to buy a halfassed version of it, but all the positive reviews on Amazon suckered me in. I've realized that those reviews came from people who were amazed that only nine months after planting a bagseed in their red solo cup, they have their very own half z.
So that's my impression of LEDs. In order to achieve {X} amount of growth requires {X} watts of electricity. You can use more, but not less, with current technology. To get results of a 1000wHPS requires about 1000w of LED when you factor in canopy penetration etc. I've come to believe that the main difference is in how the light distribution and heat exhaust function with the different technologies. LEDs will get there, and they're a lot better than the stuff people were trying around 2008. I even use LEDs for keeping clones and seedlings. I just don't see any evidence that they outperform anything. They have differences, not areas of superiority.

I want to add something to this. Biggest plant count in flower.
It's simple to have a nearly unlimited amount in veg. Hundreds a still a cake walk. You get over a hundred in flower it's a lot of work.
Imo a better metric is room size and watts total tho almost. For example I did a sog with more than I remember exactly... but I had 81 1 gallon pots at one point atleast.. that was easier than 36 in 20 gallon containers.
So many diff ways to try to compare..

Dramatically different pheno or improperly labeled seed idk, but everything else was done 3 weeks ago and this lady is still asking for N every watering.
Normally it wouldn't be all tied up like that but I had to get the other stuff out. You're right to mock me.

Imo, if you cut the others 3 weeks ago and your still adding nitrogen to this one, you may be extending flower with the N.
I'd say cut the N, try to lower temps, and reduce the light by a hour

Thanks Mongo but im an avg gardener at best. I don't spend enough time in the garden for starters. Im very lazy. Its amazing how lax you can be with cannabis and still end up with a decent result.
