I am entering week 8 of veg. My 2 dutch passion mazar have showed their sex as female white pistols in many locations. Question is it says a week before flower (according to foxfarm feeding schedule) to give open sesame which starts flowering however my plants have had preflowers for 2 weeks and dual pistols coming out of the calyx for little over a week. Should I skip open sesame and hit the switch to 12/12 or should I still feed it that and move to flower next week?? Thanks o and one is 12" and the other 15" mass side branching huge plants.

If it was me, I'd flip the lights, skip the Sesame, and continue feeding on a veg schedule to keep your N up for a couple weeks, or until you notice the stretch stop.

If you have pistils on your "vegging" plants guess what? They are already flowering. You can only veg so long via light control before the plant's natural inclination to flower takes over. BigSteve.

Do what? That's just showing they've matured.. I've got a cpl mothers that have shown sex for a mth and no flowering.

I don't do Bonsi type growing..., ie; small yield. 23/1 lighting untill they hit max growth, then 11/13.

Nope.. its called preflower. Just means they're mature, will never actually start flowering til you flip the lights. Flowering is bud growth.

I do plan on continuing veg nutes per fox farm feeding schedule but was asking if i should skip open sesame since they have preflowers already but it's ok i actually gave them open sesame and the veg nutes today just before lights out and flipped the switch they be in flower mode now

It won't hurt anything, I'm just saying........
You've vegged plenty long, the plants are mature, you don't need anything extra like that.
