Is this possible? I would think so, eh?
See, right now I have one plant doing pretty well in pretty good conditions. Proper PH water, x2 23 watt cool white spiral floro's / x2 42 watt red light spectrum spiral floro's, and M.Grow (No nute burn or anything, seems fine). A fan is also on everything whenever the lights are on. (Would be 24/7, but it's a stealth grow.)
Plant looks pretty healthy and is forming nice (Very tight + healthy looking.). Thing is I'm not sure if it is male or female, and I'm looking to find out before wasting (Potentially) anymore time.
So, if I switched to 12/12 and found out it was a female, could I (Gradually?) switch back to veg state by changing the hours over time? Would this cause any damage or trama to the plant? I have plenty of room for it to grow, and I would really like to make this one nice, since I would love to be able to get some clones (Healthy ones) out of it.
Edit- BTW- If the plant is forming pretty tightly (As in their is literally less than an inch between leaf sections) does this help indicate it will probably be a female? Maybe I've heard wrong, but don't males streach more then females naturally, or is that total b/s?
