Switching Bulbs

I have the same light for veg (6400k) and I'm 6" above. Put your hand under the light to see if it's too hot. I think 2" might be too close for that bulb. Then see if they continue to yellow on the top leafs.

I would cut the nutes down to 1/4 strength. It's better to error on "too little" than "too much" and fry them.

Can you throw a pic up of the whole plant(s)? Easier to see overall health. I'm not a doctor, but I PLAY one on RIU! :hump:

@drpeckr might have a look. :bigjoint:

My ph up just got here and after testing the feed it seems like the feed is to acidic, I also know that my plant has gone through some major stretching and needs to be watered. Now that i have the ability to raise the ph should i go to full feed?

also i have been feeding it half feed for the past ten days and this is the first signs of "anything going wrong" besides the obvious heat and stretching problems that were the result of my last bulb

after doing some research it looks like the best option is to flush my plant out by just feeding it with water for a bit on the edges of my pot. I am also looking for the right ph of full feed and how much ph up to add with 15ml of pure blend pro in one gallon of tap water, any suggestions?

Yeah, you have a serious lighting issue. Go purchase the correct lighting. No point in growing, IMO.

Stop feeding your plant. Why would you go full strength on a plant that small?

Good luck.

I know I had a serious lighting issue as I mentioned earlier, my plant has only had two full days under the new 125w cfl and I am now only going to give it water until I see improvement in the leaves

Cool.

My routine is to see 20% runoff when I water (so no salt build-up). Really let the plant dry out in between waterings. Feed every third watering.

IMO that CFL growing is like running uphill with greasy shoes.....I never answer questions with CFL in them as a rule.....So here I am trying to prevent a sad ending.....

You got 1 tiny plant with ineffective lighting.....grow it out and be done with cfl.
