it does and will. it can pack some strains so tight they ROT when budding.

OK.... I got yea.. Was in the same predicament with some monsters growing too close all in my Aero40.. All I can say is when i lollopped the I thought to myself ... oh no not too much I don’t want to hurt the plant...but what you don’t realize is the fact that the sodium light is so much more powerful the that halogen and you are going to see some major growth into the flowering stage... I took off the lower 20% ..wish I has taken out more...Tied up a few branches which should have just been chopped!. the more the plants grow (which they will) the less light those lower braches get & the smaller your AAA flower grow.

a good tie down seems about the only option, if that wont do it the other drastic thing would be to cut them down a foot or 2 then possibly veg for a bit then flower but that will set you back a few weeks so its not the best option

I would say go with tie down...If light is still not getting in there,buy a 400 watt to add,maybe in the back area of the tub.
Good luck.I love to veg big but my ceiling is 12ft tall.
