switch to led or keep HPS?

I have about $350 I can spend on a LED that I want to replace my 400w HPS... I dont know jack about LEDs and was wondering should I keep saving up and finish out this harvest or buy one? I dont know what would be the same.

I have a 2x4x6.5 grow tent

Which timber kit is recommended for 4 x 4? 1kw replacement?
 
You might struggle to get a decent replacement for that for $350. I would say finish this run and then invest when u have a little more cash.

What are the exact dimensions of your tent?

The reason I ask is to see if you could fit a 315w LEC cmh in there. I think this or 250-300W of COB's would do you well. I use 3x4 and a 2x4 but both of my tents are slightly over sized.

You can build a VERY good 4 COB light for your space with the budget you have, using basically any brand COB's you'd like.

You wanna rock the house in that 2x4 then build a bar style light with 140mm heat sinks and (4) Cree 3590's or Vero 29's on a mean well 320 series driver. I just hung one of these in my 3x3 flkower tent and VERY pleased with it thus far. Very nice and cool temps, no noise from fans and I can put my hand directly on the driver etc and no issues. I am running the Khatod lenses on mine and VERY happy with it.
