Switch to Flowering?

My plants are like 50 days old and about 7-10 days behind because of a really bad transplant when they were sprouts. They've had like 3 feedings of FF grow big over the past 2 weeks. And they seem to finally be getting through the deficiencies and nute burns. Should I switch to flowering light schedule now? Should I switch off like an hour a day or do an immediate switch or what? I think I see the female hair things (calyxes?) Also how should I change the nutes from FF Grow Big to FF Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom? Just immediate switch or what? FYI, this is my 2nd grow, but first successful.

congrats on the lady, she looks like she recovered nicely. as far as when to flower, you decide. just remember that the plant will double or triple in height when you switch the lights over, so as long as you can accomodate the growth, you can pretty much flower whenever you want. the older the plant is before you switch it the quicker flowering usually sets in. the hour a day thing is a good idea but most of us don't bother. you already have the lady preflowers so your plant is telling you she's ready if you are. i start my flowering nutes within a few days of flowering. maybe a few days before, maybe a few days after, but usually after just because it's easier for me to keep track of.

depends how strong your light is, low watt lights I'd start flowering now. I switch nutes after the stretch, switch toi 12/12 completly no need to drop an hour each day.

Well it's 400W HPS for 2 plants lol. Overkill I know. But should I also take clones right now as well before the switch? So is there not really any transition I need to do when I switch to the flowering nutes? Just switch from vegging nutes straight to normal strength flowering nutes?

EDIT: also, if she were a hermie, would it already have shown along with the calyxes? Or is there still a change she can hermaphroditify?

bump again? I really need to know if there's a nute transition or not
I already told you that, you switch AFTER the the flowering stalk develops (the stretch) they still have a lot of growing to do even though you're on the 12/12 shift. That can take a couple or three weeks.
