:mrgreen: hey guys, I started my grow outside and let them veg for prolly to long:confused: i moved them inside and hit em with cfl's for a few days to get em pumping.
I have 2 plants. one is about 2 ft the other 2.5 ft. I just started the flower stage today.:hump: I only have four 26 watt 2700k lamps but im getting more real soon. My babies seem to be looking real good. this is my first real grow I tried about 4-5 years ago and botched everything pretty much. Well once i figure out the proper way to post pics Ill put some up. So you can see my ghetto rig!:evil: :joint: :blsmoke:
 
BTW thanks for the tips, and appreciate not getting roasted since i am new to forums and stuff! I can get pics into the pic area of the forum but not sure how to get them to show up on thread pages...any help would be appreciated!

unfortunately not....cfl's right now i only have for 2700k... 2 per plant above and in the middle of them....my next pics will be better though im about to take them before they go to bed for the day and ill post em up when i get back later!....much better lights coming....i havent been working for awhile so im on a limited budget...however i just got a job as Psychiatric Technician at the local hospital.....dont tell neone...oh i just did
 
well this is one of my plants...i know its stretched out. I didnt read any info till I had been growing for 2-3 months. I didnt know any better. It is alive though and im learning. any tips would be appreciated. ill get some pics of my grow space 2m when the light is back on . I took some and forgot to push save! Now i got 6 26w 2700k cfl's. I need to really cut these back huh I just started flowering and realize how big there gonna be. I dont have enough light for plants so big i dont think.

Well if you wanna flower them soon you do need alot more cfls or you'll never grow that plant to it's full potential
 
well you have 6 currently you should try and get 6 more and place them very close together above the plants, that would give you a combined lumen output of about 2200 lumens.
 
damnit i just lookd closely at the light i bought....they are in a pack with a red stripe across the top....right next to the blue pack....but i noticed upon close inspection the box says 6500k...i got the wrong ones...now i got a total of 6 bulbs i dont need right now....but i guess the next grow will have plenty of veg light....also i should just clonr huh?...instead of germinating?
 
Ive alwasy heard people asking but when cloaning do u still veg them (18/6) or go to 12/12? Or is it just a shorter time for vegging? Or growing normal.. i know ive read the GrowFAQ, sorry to sound stupid.. didnt get all the info i needed from the faq tho.
 
You can either put them straight into 12/12 and get a very small yield or grow them like you would any other cannabis plant, just a shorter veg time.
 
well im getting aggrvated....i have bought 3 general purpose CFL's they are pretty bright I think they are 3500k...when i found out those were not the right ones i went back to wal mart and i found the ones in a blue pack and i found the ones that had a red label....thinking i needed the ones in the red pack for flowering i bought 2 packs of 2....after the first day of flowering i lok close and see thay they are 6500k.....so i get up this morning i went to home depot they have nothing really..i was thinking just buy a HPS that plugs in and be done with it.....they had none....then i went to lowes I found CFL's in a red pack 3000k i know that puts out more red....i could only find a 75 watt HPS outdoor light and I found the HPS bulbs and ballast but thats it I asked the guy if they had all the stuff to assemble the HPS with and they said NO!

So now I have spent an assload of cash on bulbs i really dont need....can I PLEASE get some advice....

I was thinking use the 2 42 watt 3oook i bought today and the other 3500k that i bought first.... at least there is more red than the 6500k right?

I dont wanna mess up my plants more than they are already i mean they look fairly good but all this light changing and stuff cant be good...PLEASE HELP

you go to Manage Attachments and upload pics at GO ADVANCED..
