These have been under T5HO indoors at 20/4 for 4 weeks in party cups with Happy Frog, just moved outside and transplanted cups into 3 gallon pots with modified wife's version of Super Soil.
They are taking off...

Check out this LST. I wish I would have heard of LST before mine got too big. I like the little pine tree on the bottom pic. Sweet.

Nice mix of plants...That bottom one will be interesting as it grows...AK.jpg NLB.jpg it's fun to experiment! When I grow auto's I sometimes don't LST due to the short structure, I had some other freebies...AK Auto from Blimburn and NL Blue Auto from Delicious that grew very short and stocky with thick buds, no LST needed, pretty cool.

Peace

Hmmm, I've got an AK in LST right now and she can't figure out which way she wants to bend. Moving her around doesn't help. I think, which I didn't read anywhere before I did it, that any LST should not be moved until harvest. I've totally confused her. Of course, I don't have her tied like the "pine tree" in that pic. I think it's tied like a roast pork! And I don't have her main stem tied down either. I have her bent by one of her large fan leaves but she's waaaayy over and producing lots of bud sites.

I'd like to see a pic of your grown AK if you took one to try and see what I'm after with her. I also have an AK not in LST.

Hey Silky, the 2 last photo's of the AK Auto and the NL Blue Auto had NO LST at all, the pics were taken about 2 weeks before harvest...they just grew like little Christmas trees!

The only time I usually LST is when the plant is looking to be taller in veg, and has longer inter-noding. I usually wait until week 4 to see, and bend her down, and don't change the setup until harvest unless I have to...(crazy plant).

Peace

That was "pine tree" not "Christmas tree". I wouldn't insult anyone like that. And, Oh, I didn't know. I swear that plant looks tied down. My bad. :Pbongsmilie
