Hey Folks, about day 30 into the grow. Girls are happy and growing like weeds :mrgreen:

Have 2 of the Sweet Auto Skunk from Herbies, in HAppy Frog using FF nutes at 1/2 strength.

Noticed some curling of the leaves on one of the plant's main cola, anything to worry about?
2nd plant isnt having any problems. You can really see that they are 2 different phenos.
One is much bushier, lighter green in leaves
2nd has larger bud sites and not as bushy. Much deeper green in the leaves.

was wondering about this one its the sweet island skunk mix ?

next question are the leaves curling up or down like claws?
 
your leaves are fine just normal growth you could try and straighten them but really no need think they just got snagged on the leaves below and continued growing if there's no burning or major clawing of multiple leaves no call for alarm is it all over or just localized and how often you water if your pots are smaller then one of them might be thirstier then the other
 
Thanks Tek, that's what I was hoping. Watching these auto's take off is a trip.

Been real pleased with the Happy Frog and FF nutes.
My first grow was with MG and some clones, it was a success. But not as uneventful as the HF.
Starting week 5 of a 7 week strain, should start to get interesting now :wink:
 
3 gal pots and yeah the one showing the curl has a less dirt than the other.
I've been watering every 4 days, and get run off out the bottom 3-4 pints each plant.
At the stage they are in I should start checking every 2-3 days.

These Autos have been an easy hands off grow so far, I had thought they were a 70 day strain. Stoner moment.
Didnt realize how far along they were ;)
 
i went and checked mine they all have a bit of a curl atleast the ones blooming im sure its nothing to worry about
 
prolly take a bit longer then 70 days ive never grown this strain but many others and never had a breeder time that was right they always take longer by a few weeks sometimes
 
Ive got a small mag glass to check trichs, moved at the end of my first grow and had to harvest early.
Gonna wait these out ;)

most people call me crazy but i like smoking immature herb gets the speedy head high but keeps my heart rate stable i have a irregular heart beat and the racing heart is a no no scares me sometimes but the zooming mind i love
 
Starting week 6, buds coming on strong. Still alot of curly leaves around the buds
Now watering every 2 days
Added 4 cfls for side lighting, switched to the 250w HPS

If you can.... Make a hood for the cfls! And get them closer and pointed directly at the plants. Believe it or not....the bulbs you are using put out more light from the bottom of bulb not the side. Very common misconception to think the sides put out more light. Good luck

Thanks Locked Out, I actually spent some time today trying to learn that exact thing, without success.

Girls seem to like the side lighting, last grow used a t8 as a side light. Nice hard buds.
 
250w with both MH and HPS, just switched to the HPS

and Thanks Tek, the pics are turning out well. Force flash under the HPS, macro setting.
Love the wat the trichs and colors show ;)
