Hey ppl!
Im a 30-something Swede new to Medical Marijuana, tried it and found my panic attacks at first becoming not so freaking out and after getting a bit mellow, not having them at all.

I have also had ADHD my entire life and since I started toking I dont feel from it at all.

Since Im not a crook I dont want to be dealing with crooks and I got me the basics for homegrowth online and now Im working on my first crop. This makes me a criminal, sadly, but I stick to myself, stay stealth and dont talk to people about it.

Beeing paranoid and in Sweden I just turned pulled my big freezer out in the cold garage and turned it off so I could get a 600W HPS running without it showing to much on my electricity build :-P

Im open for suggestions and I want to learn everything you guys want to share with me. Its pretty fucking amazing growing stuff, wish I would have noticed earlier since I have absolutely no experience at all in plants.

English is my second language, I get it wrong pretty often and you are welcome to correct me.

Yaaa! Keep reading bro, you're on your way to tasty, homegrown, discrete herbs. I would recommend that you decide which kind of growing system is right for you first. Choose based on information you find on this forum, NOT from advertisements. Once you have decided, you can more easily build a bank of knowledge that is specific to your style of growing. Welcome!

Im trying out simple soil(wormcastings/perlite/leca/potting soil) now for my first grow, see how that works out. I went for it because I could get it from the local supermarket and I felt it was somewhere to start out. I got these autoflowering freaking expesive feminized seeds before reading up on the matter (seeing to many adverts and falling for it) that I have in the soil now, not showing up yet, but I also got 100 seeds of some variety that I got from a grower for something like 50 US, not feminized, but the way I got it feminized seedes are breeded from "hermans" and overrated (?)

I know a few folks who rock the autoflower strains for their balconies. Another buddy uses autoflower fem-seeds for his cpu box grow. Autoflower plants are actually kind of cool for tiny grows, and may be perfect to cut your teeth on. Have fun with those, and then while you're burning those tasty organic herbs, grow your new seeds, take clones, and then grow out the ones from the best plant (keeping one as a small clone-mother). The main quarrel with autoflower is that it's not as potent, but with some good light, they'll be great. The main quarrel with feminized seeds is that they are f'ckin' with the gene pool, and they go hermaph more frequently than normal strains. That said, they'll all be girls! What kind of autoflower seeds did you get?

I got Auto Giant from Dutch Quality and shitloads of Lowryders from a friend. The thing about autoflowering strains is that you cant clone them, since the clones would mature at the same time as the mother and the mother would flower at "her given time" sort to say (hope you understand my bad english here).

Theres no way to take cuttlings from them so new seed is the only way.

Yeah, they been bred from hermans the way I got it and they will produce more hermans. But, a hermans means more seeds, Im not really getting my knickers in a twist over that. Fuck it. Sinsemilla next crop man.

Ah, California, the best weed in the world. I was there for two weeks and hed very little reality, and very much McDonalds, haha

If you are converting a freezer, you'll have heating issues with 600w HPS. I almost went that route but to avoid the heat problems I looked into LEDs. I'm amazed at how well they work, after all the warnings against them I read at first. I'm sold on them, and am rather amazed at what I've learned. If you have any interest, let me know. I can help you survey the better products.

Good luck, however you proceed. I love Sweden, and regularly listen to Henrik Palmgren on Red Ice Radio. What are the laws like there?

Started my first grow 1st of December and progress is showing already. I'm growing Auto-Green-O-Matic, since it's easier to grow and doesn't take much time. It's kinda a preparation for growing a more serious plant. I learned a lot since i started my growing journal, and tokers around here helped me out alot :D
Swedish is not my first language, actually it's my sixth :D but i like it very much, i'm learning more every day.

Yeah. its f*d up that you can have sex with dogs but not smoke weed.

I acctually have a spare bedroom in my house I have lined up with a plastic sheet thats got one side black and one side white and supposedly lets no light out. And Ive sorted out this steamer-thingy to keep the air moist in there. Im thinking about sorting out the carbondioxide thing tomorrow and brew me some beer while Im at it.

Yeah, Im feeling enthusiastic about this, it looks good I think, and even if I do fuck up, I still got this cool gear and I'll just try it all over again :)

Im getting me a MH or some flourecents after xmas and sort me out a separate growth-space I think, to keep a mother and try some "real strains" of our beloved herb. + the seeds are cheaper for them than the auto ones.

Love this forum, I am yet to come up with a question I cant find the answer for here.

Have you considered buying from American shops that have intl. shipping? The shipping is more but I'm sure the prices are much better.

Have a look at Greners.com, they are a great place to deal with. One of my favorites.

Get it from the UK or US or something dude, swedish growshops must log whp buys such equipment. I just got a 600W HPS from CN and the rest from the local hardware store.

Yo bro.. I know what you mean. In Poland the same thing. Western Europe lifted the prohibition, we are still stuck in the nonsense.
Even in the Czech Republic is freedom.In Poland, if you have crumbs in pocket have problems. FUCKD..
Ziomek let us fight for depenalisation.. In Poland moves forward in this case but to the legal high stiil so so far.
