Sweating vs snapping?

Hi, I'm just curious about two different techniques used while drying/curing your harvest, and want to know which one will be the easiest, or most effective.

The first method I heard of, is bending the stem, and if it snaps off, then the bud is dried through, and you can store it.
The second method is the plastic bag method, where you "Sweat" the buds to evenly distribute moisture, and transfer back to drying until the buds don't feel "wet" after being sweated.

I really like the first method, but I'm afraid that I would risk mold, because the bud might not be as dry in thicker, bushier areas, than it is by the thin stem.

Thanks!

Never knew there was a name for it, but apparently I sweat them. I hang mine till the branches are close to snapping, then put them into 5 gallon buckets for 24 hrs or so, then hang them back up for another day. I get a nice controlled dry that way, and I don't end up having to burp my cure jars for as long this way. The sooner you can stop opening the jars to release moisture and chloraphill, the faster and stronger the smell and taste come in.

Just my method, everyone does it different.
