Swarm of tiny bastard flys..

will they harm anything and how can i get rid?

Also ive noticed my plant don't seem to be able to hold her self up straight anymore, its leaning and when i correct it, the fan just blows it and off it goes again, i really don't know whats going on

1. Walk in your room.
2. Take out a shotgun.
3. Aim.
4. Fire.

That should get rid of them.

No seriously there like a little swarm of the fukers all hanging arround in a tray which 1 of my plants sit in, they don't seem to be bothering any of the other plants

Go to your local home depot and get some pesticides, spray them fukers and pray that they go away.

I ve got some fly spray killer, but wont that fuk me plants up if i spray that arround?

I would say put your plants in another room during the darkness light cycle and just spray down your whole room.

Yea good idea there, but they seem to be hanging in and arround the 1 plant, so i think they will prob have eggs all over it

Lol, i just found a great way of dealing with the little fukers, for some reason, they are all having some kinda tiny fly meeting in this tray under 1 of my plants, theres only the odd one airborne (unless disturbed) i see the odd 1 heading for my main female 6 week into flowering and i catch the little bastards with my hand like kerate kid, anyway so i got my lighter and adjusted it from a cig llighter to flame thrower, believe my i fuked there little fly meeting right up, there prob running arround with little stretchers like they just been nuked ha ha fuk em! i dont norm kill insects usualy stick em in a glass the throw em out, but these little gate crashers can get fuked lol its war!!!

Battle report 2... just been down on the front line, they seem to of multiplied idk where the fuk there coming from, the bodycount is about - 20 n now theres about same amount hmmmz...

I don't know of a fly that can hurt a plant.

i know what im gonna do, i get a lot of big spiders in my house, im gonna catch a couple n throw em in my room, and they should stay there as spiders are knows to build there webs arround bright places to catch flys

I have problems with the little bastards too. I think it's from not letting the soil dry out between watering, which is one of my hangups, I don't like my soil to get bone dry. I also sit around and try to catch them Karate Kid style.


Spiders are cannibals, you don't want more than one or 2 in the area or they will just eat each other, but good plan.

Yea, we get real big ones here im gonna throw 1 of em in on there own, and you are prob right about the soil thing, as my main plant only gets watered when the soil is bone dry, like 2 inch down, and there not bothering that 1, just the 3 i water daily as the leafs wilt if i don't, i don't like killing insects but im making an exception for these little tormenters lol

im no expert but it sounds like fungus nats they lay there eggs in the soil then the larvae hatch and feed on the roots sometime it can give a similar appearance to nute burn in the leaves and do some serious damage i had them from useing soil from wal-mart. there is something that you can put in your water to kill the larvae. i used some stuff made by orco it is safe for fruits and vegtables it worked for me but like i said i am only a noob so do some research before you add anything that can destroy your operation. i definately dont wanna be the reason you killed your plants. there is a post on here that gives some good advice on what to do and what the additive is ill see if i can find it for you. but if i cant find it go to a grow shop and ask what to do about your situation im sure they have the correct stuff.
