That's what I was wondering- if auto flowering have "a look". BTW - I don't see a way to "like" a comment. Is that because my account is new? Anyway - thanks!Sure looks auto

(...)set on a 14 hour timer. The container states "feminized". I do NOT want auto flower, nor have I ever grown them.
I ordered from them about 3 months ago...and they sent an order confirmation/invoice automatically when I placed the order.Bought Pacific almost quarterly for 4 years their good only had one issue in 4 years with duds they replaced those those were duds I got new beans. Alice in wonderland were the duds. Only negative thing I can say is their shipping time. Takes forever. I bought some nana glues a week after buying autos from Pacific the nana glues still got here like a week or 2 before Pacific
I had them next to a window, with supplemental lighting (set at 14 hours.) They received additional light from the window as the days got longer. I put them out to a greenhouse once they were around 5 weeks. The natural daylight at that time was around 14.5 hours. I've literally never had this problem before. I've even started plants indoors and only used light from the window. Never once have I had a plant start flowering within 4 weeks.(...)set on a 14 hour timer.

You've answered your own question.
Entirely possible for some plants to start flowering at ~14 hours. You found a strain that did it.I had them next to a window, with supplemental lighting (set at 14 hours.) Yea they do then also will have shipping details tracking waiting on USPS pick up. I've had it stay stagnant like that for nearly a month before they actually shipped out. I've gotten them within 2 wks as well but normally its around a month. And I live 2 states over the nana glues came from US but Canadian border.I ordered from them about 3 months ago...and they sent an order confirmation/invoice automatically when I placed the order.
Have you grown photoperiod Blue Dream? Perhaps it is really sensitive, but I think it may be an auto flower version. Is there any tell tale indication if it is auto flowering, other than the flowering?Entirely possible for some plants to start flowering at ~14 hours. You found a strain that did it.
You may not understand light leaks ( growing in window and it wasnt summer ) unless room was blacked out you probably had a light leak. Growing in bedroom window, living room windows as examples the tv being on or a lamp numerous fixtures could cause leaks. Even if its bright enough through a door crack. Gotta be fairly dark during dark periods. Growing in light proof tents you can get away with a little more but you were sitting wide open. also I said anything under 14.5 not 14.5 as your natural day light was. Not saying that if you did grow a strain native to that region then maybe yea maybe it wont flower like that, but that's like 2% of the strains available. I've never seen heard or had one not flower under 14.5 hours. Reasons why the US only has 2 vegging months through the year june and July when days are longest. You throw a photo out any other time itll go to flower.I had them next to a window, with supplemental lighting (set at 14 hours.) Hello All! I'm new to this forum, but not horticulture.
Complete Nonsense
You must be new to growing cannabis. Yes Blue Dream can (and apparently will, in your case), flower under 14/10 lighting. Why do you think everyone else runs 16/8 to 24/0 in veg? I guess you thought that you could game the system? Your knowledge of horticulture should tell you that cannabis plants flower once there is ample accumulation of florigen, which ultimately is produced during long nights. Sorry bro, you induced flowering with your lighting cycle.Yes, once light is reduced, not increased.
That pacific seed bank is a very dogy place dude. See all the seeds they cary for big name seedbank an some of them being out of stock for years, i can guarantee you those seedbanks arnt send any stock to pacific seedbank to distribute. There most likley selling bulked sourced seed that could be anything under what ever name you want. See how long those guys have been around an how many successfully finished documented grows you can find on the boards done with seed sourced from pacific.Hello All! I'm new to this forum, but not horticulture.
Here's the deal. I purchased Feminized Blue Dream (BD) seeds from Pacific Seed Bank (PSB). I started 1 BD seed and 1 seed of Alien Rock Candy (ARC) in a wet towel on 4/4. Both seeds sprouted within 12 hours. The sprouts were planted in 4 inch pots filled with organic potting soil. Their final destination to be hydroponics in a greenhouse (GH). Since the GH wasn't yet ready the plants were placed under T5 grow lights near a window, set on a 14 hour timer. These were growing next to other seedlings of tomatoes, chiles, etc.
At approximately 4 weeks the BD was 12" and the ARC 18". The BD started to show pistils. At first I didn't think much of it, but made sure the light was lowered to ensure it had enough. A little less than a week ago both the BD and ARC were transferred into DWC hydro. in the greenhouse. The ARC is growing quickly, but the BD still looks to be flowering and isn't doing much. I have attached a couple pics. Is there anyway to know if the BD was actually auto flowering seeds and not feminized?
Any feedback is welcome. Thanks!View attachment 5137846View attachment 5137847
Yep but it's a long and ugly process, if it's a photoperiod of course.Question, if the OP increased the lights on time, would the plants reveg?
Just a little tip for you. Plants that are usualy very indica coming from certain areas of the globe can go into flower under 14 hrs light on and 10 hrs lights off. I in the past flowered the whole cycle a few times under 14 on- 10 off as it bumps up the yield, but does take a little longer, an depending on strain or type flowers fine. Tropical heavy sativa types wont flower properley till its 12-12 or the dark hours are slighty higher than the light hours as this is how the dark an light hours are were they come from an how theyve developed to signal flower time. This is why over years of trial an eror plants bred for ease with indoor growing stick with 18 hrs on and 6 hrs off to force a plant to stay in veg. So if that plant defo has no auto/semi auto genetics in it , it may be were your issue is.Hello All! I'm new to this forum, but not horticulture.

I finally have a like button - yay! I liked your post. I was wondering if some strains had been bred to the point of "indoor only". I haven't grown Blue Dream before, but figured since it is Sativa dominant it would be fine. FYI - I started an Alien Rock Candy (Indica Dominant) at the same time, in identical conditions - side by side with the Blue Dream. It is now a massive monster and still isn't flowering. I'm fairly certain the Blue Dream they sent me is auto flower. I have some more of the seeds, so at some point, I'll start some and do the 18 hours on to see what happens. The current Blue Dream is most definitely still flowering - even with the longer days, so it appears to be Auto Flower.Just a little tip for you. At this point I'm convinced it is an auto flower strain, which is very disappointing. The plants were getting 14 hrs of grow light augmentation, but they were right next to a large west facing window without shading, so as the natural daylight hours increased the plants were getting increased light hours. I had the lights come on early in the morning and go off before sunset. I mentioned previously that I started an Alien Rock Candy (Indica dom.) at the exact same time - grown right next to the Blue Dream. Only the BD started flowering at 4 weeks (as light hours were increasing). They both went into a greenhouse a couple weeks ago. The Alien RC is now 3+ feet tall and 3 feet wide - not flowering. The Blue Dream has grown a bit, but is still flowering (days are still getting longer). It looks like it will grow into one giant 18" tall bud. That is NOT what I purchased. I believe Pacific Seed screwed up and sent an auto flowering strain.Question, if the OP increased the lights on time, would the plants reveg?
You guys trip me out with all this. As I mentioned previously, I may be new to this site, but not horticulture. Sure, I'm not a cannabis "guru", but I have grown - and that goes back decades. I'm quite sure at this point this is auto flower. You guys do understand that cannabis is a plant that wants to procreate and has survived in nature for a long time? I suppose breeders have bred some photo period strains that now will only grow stricly indoors under controlled lighting? Unless, you're starting seeds in Alaska, where in nature are you getting 18 hour days? If these were photoperiod seeds (they were supposed to be) they "should" grow fine on 12/12 and would "eventually" flower at some point. NO SEED should go to flower within 4 weeks of getting the seed wet (unless auto flower) STARTING with 14 hours of augmented grow lights, plus ADDITIONAL light coming from the window as the days got longer. It just shouldn't happen PERIOD.You must be new to growing cannabis. Yes Blue Dream can (and apparently will, in your case), flower under 14/10 lighting. Yay, they were deliberately getting additional light. They were placed in an unshaded - West facing window. I started the seeds with more light than was naturally occurring (April). The lights came on early and went off just before sunset, but as the days grew longer the lights went off before sunset, so the plants were getting more than the 14 hours of light. And, in actuality it was more like 14.5 hours. I was using one of those outdoor pin timers with 30 minute increments. I intentionally didn't do a longer light period because these were seedlings - going to a greenhouse. I didn't want them to flower when going to shorter light periods. From getting the seed wet to the plant starting flower was 4 weeks. There's no way that should happen with a photo period plant. I started an Indica dom. seed at the exact same time, grown right next to each other. That plant hasn't started flowering and now it is taking off. I mentioned in a previous post I have more of these Pacific Seed Blue Dream Seeds. I won't have time for a while, but at some point I will start another one and do 18/6 to see when it starts flowering. From everything I've found - I'm 99% sure this is an auto flower strain, which is wasn't supposed to be...You may not understand light leaks ( growing in window and it wasnt summer ) unless room was blacked out you probably had a light leak. 14.5 isn't a damning number like you're trying to make it. It's a universal number, used for outdoor grows. Could be 14hrs who wants to veg for 2 to 3 months then play around with flower. Could be 14 hours and 12 minuets for all I know but what I do know is under 14.5 hrs will induce flower maybe 14 hrs 22 minuets maybe 14 hrs and 2 minuets or maybe 14 hrs and 29 minuets. Lol being as June and July are the only vegging months and the only months with over 14.5 hrs I'd say that's a good guesstimate to go off of, also doesn't have to be direct light indirect light keeps them up as well.
I'm beginning to think that as well. Now, that I've discovered this forum I have read that by others too. Are you in the US? Which seedbank do you recommend? That pacific seed bank is a very dogy place dude. You keep saying this, but I have to wonder if that's the case, why do the plants in your pic look to be in poor shape, regardless of whether or not they are photoperiodic plants? As I mentioned previously, I may be new to this site, but not horticulture.
