Any particular product you'd recommend? I am not particularly knowledgeable about LED strips. Right now honestly I'm leaning towards repurposing the Mars 900. It sounds like it would cost somewhere around $250 and essentially give me 350w more of LED full spectrum power.
Bridgelux EB series gen 2 stips. They're the best available at the moment, cheapest price, best efficiency and best coverage, you really can't go wrong..

What voltage is your mains power?

If you're completely new to diy led spend some time searching up others builds to get a rough idea of what's involved.

Check out this website with example strip designs. ledgardener.com/diy-led-strip-build-designs-samsung-bridgelux/

The only thing I don't like about the designs is the use of CV(constant voltage) drivers instead of constant current. Though when you've got a rough idea of what you want post in the led sub forum and you'll get plenty of help with build design/driver selection.

Ask any questions you want I'll try help :)

The thing about repurposing the mars is its almost HID like with its point source of light. I would keep the mars as a veg light and spend $250 on EB strips, much better money spent.
