just moved into a new house it has 4 6' florescents all with 4400k bulbs in them that i will not be needing for any other purpose. i know this is not the ideal color temp for plants but was thinking about using them for sidelighting. Currently im flowering with 2 1000w hps units. Anyone have input of this spectrum ...is it usable or should i save my electricity and invest in correct color? Any help is much appreciated :hump:

4400 kelvin is very close to common Daylight, very good to veg under, save some cash and grow under these, you will need a min. of 600w hps to make them shine, or you can add 50% 2700k, keep to within 1-2 inches hang on chains adjust daily, add a small fan, and a temp gauge
