SUPERSKUNK in NFT

Hi hope you all like my journal, i will be growing nirvana's feminised superskunk...

125w envirolite (blue) 18/6
25litre 205gt nft tank.
nutes- greenhaze grow (A+B)
temps - 70f -75f

Ec- 1.4 Ph 5.8-5.9 and will be kept at this level untill there of height to flower.. As superskunk is a new strain to me im not too sure on how much they will stretch in flower so any1 with some info on this strain plz leave your comments here..

will throw in a few pics of the lemonskunks i have that are almost finished flowering..
all other comments are gladly accepted...

what lighting do you plan on using for flowering?

hi jondamon n thanx for taking the time to stop by m8...,

when i flower i will be using 1x 600w and 1 x 400w hps... my growtent is 120x120x200cm which right now holds my 4 lemonskunks just now which are @ 6 wks flower so in a couple of weeks i plan to move the superskunk through there and veg under the big light for a week or 2 b4 i change to 12/12... will see how it goes tho coz they might need flowered sooner...

once these ladies finish flowering the SS will be added..

why use the 400w aswell?

really nice ladies you got going there m8, what sort of dry weight do you expect from 4 that size.? i sometimes only use the extra 400w near the end of bloom to add a lil more light. but this time was thinking about adding it right at the start.. i know its not really needed so again i will see how it goes.. just now the summer temps are too much to add the 400w without massive rises so i will prob just go with the 600w till atleast wk4-5 of flower..

to be completely honest yield is not as significant as quality to me. i think my biggest plant will fetch me 4-5oz weakest plant around 2 the other 2 plants somewhere in between.


i actually decrease my wattage during the final few weeks from 600w down to 400w . As this can aid in the ripening process.

thats a nice yield and about the same as i get, im anywhere between 3 n 4oz per plant. depending on strain...

my lemonskunk this time wont yield anywhere near that coz they have been struggling with an mg def , i reckon 2-3 per plant but could be less this time..

this was the lemmons a few days ago... have reduced ppm and it seems to be sorting it out but still looks quite bad when you see them all up close..

just a lil update on the superskunk...

today is day 12 of veg , ec-1.4 ph 5.8
Not much growth since the last pics , maybe 2cm on each..
they are all looking really healthy tho and cant wait to get them under the hps ..

Today my white to black arrived so have covered the tank to reflect the light plus to stop any light leaking into the roots/meduim..

thought id post a few pics of the lemmon nuggets up close.. absolutely covered in crystal n the smell is awesome..

in with the superskunk i will also be adding 3 LemonSkunk,,,, 2 Ak47's,,,, 1 Hustla'sWidow and the SuperSkunk that provided the 4 clones i have in the nft tank above..

all 6 plants are in a 25litre bubbler system just now but will be putting the lemons in another modified nft tank and i will put the 2 Ak47's in a seperate bubbler rather than keeping them in beside the Hustla'sWidow n SuperSunk.
these are also being fed greenhaze (grow) @ ec-1.4 ph-5.8

might be starting some GODBUD this week but havnt decided yet as some of them can go 12-14wks.. the ones i grew b4 were mostly 8-10wks but reading the breeders reviews and journals im seeing that some have went 14+ so its not ideal for my perpetual grow methods..

got the beans sent to the uk from a good friend in canada last year , there an awesome strain with a stone that nothing else ive grown or smoked compaires to and they absolutely stink lol. big yielders , solid nuggets and some are purps... hence the reason im itchin to grow them coz i wana find a purp...

its been 10 days since my last update so thought id pop in n let you all know where im at...

all 4 superskunk are doing very well indeed and have more than doubled in size, maybe more.. as the biggest is now not far off 14" ive just changed them to flower. ec 1.9 ph 5.9

the lemonskunks i added last week are the same , and the 2 ak's are also doing gr8..

Been ocupied with other things the last few wks but managed to get a few pics earlier today..

Everything has been added to the flowering room and are 1wk into 12/12 under a 600w hps..
most of the plants were around 14inch at the start except 1 superskunk which was 11inches.

The superskunks are all doing great and the biggest is 18-20inches tall and the smallest being around 15inches. between the 5 i have i took 19 clones for the nxt run and took 10 ak47's.. (will post seperate pics of the clone room coz i modified an nft tank and i think you all might like to see it)

didnt take lemonskunk clones this because the strain looks kinda tired now if you know wot i mean? its been going for over a year now so will get fresh beans n start again..

Ak47's are doing very well , they have taken quite a big stretch since flowering a week ago,, there over 20inches..

here are the 19 superskunk clones i took the other day..
i modified a 205gt nft tank to hold 20 of the tiny lil pots and have turned it into a cloning bubbler system.. once they start to root i will add the air pump and fill the rez @ ec 1.2-1.4 ph 5.8

in the other tray are the 10 Ak47's which were also taken the other day..

have raised ec of all flowering plants = SuperSkunk now @ ec2.3 ,, LemonSkunk @ ec2.0 ,, bubbler with 2 xAk47 , 1xHustlasWidow and 1xSuperSkunk is now @ ec2.2
all ph's are between 5.8-6.0

im now 13 days into 12/12 and after alot of stress wondering if i was under or over feeding ive managed to sort the yellowing of my plants... believe it or not i wasnt giving them enough nutes.

im now at an ec of 2.6 and the colour is returning to the plants,,, i thought i was underfeeding and reduced the ec but all the plants went really yellow so upped it and everything is fine now...

will try n get decent close up pics later today,,, the ak's seem further on than the rest and have white hairs everywhere,,, superskunk are just behind the ak's and the lemons are just starting to show the white hairs...
