would you be able to just cut white a4 paper to size would that do the job?

The light distance.... How far is your MH light... or is this cfl grow..??

its hps its a 600w hps and is a little under 3 feet from the tips

IS that the newest picture you have... i say it cause i have noticed that as soon as you get good coverage with the leafs then you should be able to drop the light to regular growing distance.... LIke everyone will tell you.... put the top of your hand close to the light... then bring it down till you dont get that itch... that is the good distance.

Sorry i grow with 400 watt HPS and for babies i do keep them about 20 to 24 inches away... i imagine that with 600 you should be fine at that distance.. but the results show otherwise... do the hand thing and leave it at that distance for a day or to... make sure you spray them down... good luck buddy

oh wait i just caught on that its an HPS.... that is a very white HPS... must be an expensive bulb that produces dual then ..cause my HPS is orange as hell... i added some CFL to the bottom of my hood to give it the blue light ... some say HPS makes them stretch....

I dont get any burn from that... i have heard the theory of water droplets acting as magnifiers.... but i never had issues.... on the other note?... getting them wet in the dark...wouldnt that me more susceptible to mold? i mean there isnt any buds...but you catch my drift. dark and wet makes mold...

This is my setup for seedlings and clones...keep in minde that there are 4 26w cfls wired side by side up there... so there is allot of light...

do your foliar about an hour or so before light comes on is when it should be done.

on those lights i use a 430 watt hps, give me an extra 30% in the blue colour, and more lumens. i believe about 52,000 and was only 35 bucks cdn. only 1 company makes them. son agro
