Supercropping

So i just had a quick question to see if anyone else might have come across this problem. It appears that the 2 branches that i supercropped have a slight nutrient deficiency as opposed to the other branches that seem to be fine.

Is it possible that if the outside of the supecropped stem broke or was somehow damaged thus causing a potential deficiency? It looks like the stem had a tear in it.

If im not mistaken the phloem is on the outside of the stem as opposed to the xylem (which would be on the inside), which the phloem is responsible for nutrients getting from the roots to the tips? Does this make sense?

Thanks for the help everyone.

Is it possible you're just noticing the signs of light burn? Did you supercrop them because the light was too close?

I did it to even out the canopy and not because of something i saw specifically that i was trying to fix. Whats weird is that its not the top leaves, but the bottom leaves of where i supercropped.

I dont want to confuse anyone with too much info, as i usually do, but i was having problems with nutrient burn recently so ive been giving it only water. Thats been over 2 weeks at this point and most of the plant looks good. Little burn here and there on the margins and tips but the only really weird leaves are near the super cropped area. My hypothesis just seemed to make sense to me and was looking for some type of validation i suppose lol.

Do you have some pictures of what you mean? I have supercropped a few dozen ladies with varying levels of aggression and not seen a branch do anything aside from grow back towards the light, or (once) die cuz I was too eager. I haven't ever noticed a deficiency in just one branch after...

I have experienced single branch def many times, but not because of SC, when its done correctly, these branches are dominant later. I start with twisting the top until it makes like 2 turn arounds and than just bend down. Sometimes it cracks sometimes not it does not matter. Important thing is not to break it completely and when you bend it, you have to bend it in same possition as it was before. If you bend it a litlle bit with spin, than it wont make a knuckle and it actually only makes damage to the stem and thats the time when def can occur.

Mmmm. Maybe this is what the problem was then. Im still new to this and this was the first time i decided to try and supercrop the plant. I may have done it incorrectly and instead of getting it form a knuckle, i broke the stem. I definitely put a little spin on the branch thinking that i could weaken the outside of the stem and bend it to whatever direction i wanted.
