Super soil in CA

yeah i wanted to snag biochar but it's super expensive for how much i need so it'll wait until next time. i already have my psb guano and my mexican and jamaican as well. I was planning on top dressing with that added into my soil mixture (be it straight vermifire or, now, with the amends). would you still add the fishbone and fish meal?

what would you go with besides azomite? basalt? GRD?

I have 5 and 7 gallon root pouches. they both hold more than their size but i will not be filling either size to capacity. I like some space from the top, so I imagine 3.5-4 gallon in the 5 gallons and 5.5-6 in my 7's. 6-8 weeks veg depending on the size and strain.
you can get a bag of the hardwood charcoal from most health food/hippy stores. then just crunch it up, and charge it with a nitrogen tea, and then you're golden.
the reason I like fishbone and fish meal is because they release slower, which tends to match the cannabis' "appetite"
remember though, the first run probably won't need anything
guanos are good fro topdress, for sure. Just make sure you need them first though, oftentimes they aren't needed. and less is ALWAYS better, like a pinch.
I reaaally like neem meal too, try and find that if possible

I'm sorry, it's getting late here and I'm a little toasted, I know I shouldn't laugh, but that nearly made me piss myself
late?
ohh right.. you are in the UK, right?
i'm still at my shop for gods sake..
and i'm known for making comedy out of tragedy.
I'm good at that. But if ya get kicked in the ballz enough you are thankful when the next kick doesn't quite cause as much nad-pain, and it's easy to make fun of it.
allll about perspective.. ya I got mites, but I DON'T have anything else.

heh, yea you'll consider it until you taste the neem on your buds..
Yuck.
that oil isn't easy to clean off, not to mention the mites out here all do a collective
THIS to me if I use neem.

they don't even die when sprayed with miticides man... i'm serious.
these radioactive mites are bad-fuckin-ass

hahaha. i hate spraying with neem, smells too fucking bad. haven't used neem meal/cake before, i hope that doesn't pass through to the buds.

haven't been having any issues with mites. had some fucking thrips which are just annoying more than anything. got some mites on some clones from a friend, didn't notice until the plants were bigger but green cleaner every 3 days for 1-2 weeks killed them all. haven't seen once since (about 5-6 months now). hopefully it stays that way.

well my initial plan was the guano's for nutrient teas. i'm sorta playing it by ear, seeing which i like best. I'm picking up 4-5 55 gallon drums so i can make a few different teas and try them on different sections and see which i like. i'm hoping i don't need to top dress but i figure i'll have to at least once.
