Thanks man! When I get back from work tonight I'll have to update with pics. We're at 8 weeks today. Started seeing female pre flowers a week or so ago. I figured since this "auto" hasn't flipped after 8 weeks, it may not be an auto so I flipped to 12/12 a day ago. My screen is 65/70% full. To answer your question @supreme bean the lights are about 10" from the top of the screen. I was concerned when I first started because my light was hanging 5-7 inches off the top and thought for sure I'd bleach/burn the tops especially when they grew up. So I remounted to light higher up. At this level she's been loving it. The LED is advertised as "150w" HPS equivalent (48x3) but it's actual output is only 80-90w I believe. Of course, we'll see how well things actually flower. This is all a fun project and for personal usage so either way I'm having a good time. Maybe sometime I'll get into hydro like you say, but working on getting good at the soil growing first :) Thanks for stopping by.

I got a 90 watt led i use to veg.Despite makers claims, i find watt for watt no real differance between hps and led.
I hang my hps vert so i can get it near the plants without burning. The real advantage of led is the heat signature.
90 watts led =90 watts hps.IME.

My plant took a hard hit yesterday and I'm not sure she'll come back or if it's worth the time trying to fix her. All in the same day she wilted terribly due to my house getting way to hot and drying up, then once I watered her and cooled her off my dog came by and ate nearly all the tops. Unfortunately he didn't "top" the gland properly so I just have a bunch of stems sticking up through the screen. Granted, this was all my fault for not checking on her during the heat wave and not keeping the dog out of the grow room. Live and learn I suppose. Once the lights turn back on this evening I'll reassess and see, I may be starting a new one shortly.

Thanks bro, yeah it sucked but all is good. I'm taking a break at the moment because the wife and I are looking to buy a home soon. I don't want to get started then have to move. I really want to start again since I got a bunch more seeds, but I will have to be patient so that I set things up right with proper planning :)
