exactly...she is looking oh so lovely i just topped off her rez and pushed nutes over to a week 4 added beastie since monday... any other suggestions anyone?

to be honest I dont really know it was quite a One hitter quitter but the stronger one was flowered longer and fucked u basically on the inhale but the first one which also was a fast hitter but it wasn't so overpowering and due to the earlier harvest it didnt have that much body effects and it was a real good laugh so I can only recommend it...plus I tried SLH in dam was really nice smelling but more hazy cant remember the smoke though

Thank you blueberrylarry, just putting hours and hours of reading research and question asking to practice.. i'm learning more and more everyday its crazy... i'm trying to post photos everyday that way i can see the progression, its tough finding day by day journal updates..so i try to keep to it..

Yeeeahhhhhh maaannn, when grown out and right and then cured properly... theres no comparing it.. and at the end of a few hits you end up with a silly look on your face and a numbing starting to set in.. but she doesn't slow you down... i call her "all day" because you could smoke her all day and keep going like an energizer bunny..lol

What week of flowering are you in now? I am about to flip to flower on Saturday, can't wait to see some buds.

i just finished week 3 monday.. tonight will dbe the beginning of day 24... if i give her 10 weeks 12/12 apx that lands at the end of next month...greenhouse said dro done right could finish as early as 9 weeks 10 for flavor.. in soil i've normally landed around 11-12 weeks

Day 24..12/12... The saga continues,... Pretty as can be.. wondering if she'll keep growing vertically or for how much longer until she starts fattening up like crazy...

its good to have you here, its great knowing theres other people growing at the same time.. its good to compare best practices

i like how your going about it doc, some best practice and some tweeking as you see fit, and so far you been bang on the money your pic`s illistrate(spelling) that...

you know how i`m set and you`ve pointed me in the right direction with my screen and pot/ screen height and so much more i`ll post in here as i go if you don`t mind and compare and advise.....

Day 25...12/12.. BAM she's doing nice drinking a gallon a day.. puttin in work.. heres some shots from today.. i'll be posting a mini timeline update in a few.. stay tuned

ah its been a long time comeing but i can actually see daily growth now, think the homemade co2 helped but as i`m messing with hempy i can`t be sure if its that or we have hit the "res" in the bottom of the tubs....


your doing exeptionally good doc, and come harvest what do you think you`ll pull... yes bit early but you have to have an idea... which begs the question is the scrog idea easier to call yeild on????

Thanks man, yeah.. i'm thinking its a combo cO2 and rez combo, but thats awesome..

I have no idea what i'm going to pull...lol.. this is my first scrog/hydro run.. and as i look down at my screen from above.. i counted over 60 what look to be "tops".. if those all where just 10 grams in the end i would hit the golden 1/1 gw i think that very well may be possible.. but hey.. i'm happy with 8 to 10 ozs ...... i would really like the 600 grams though...

i'm thinking it may be easier to call yield on because i can see how many upward branches.. if they are each a cola and with proper tucking your canopy will be even.. after a run you'll probably be spot on estimates if you run the same strain the same way again...
where as on a "traditional" plant that looks like a christmas tree.. you have buds everywhere.. some big some corn.. denser buds than others.. due to light distribution..

Day 27... 12/12 FIYAHHHH POWAAAA wow... everyday she keeps surprising me.. crystals everywhere..has me wondering how much will she be oozing since she has at least 43 more days... (i want to give her at least a full ten weeks,.. but if triches are going amber i will pull) i'm just going to post these pics already...

Damn Doc!!! Looks awesome!. I understand that to start the scrog process you top the girl, then, do some supercropping. What do you do when the plant hits the screen? What is a good height to set the screen at? I also noticed that under the screen your trunks have had all the growth trimmed off. Does this also promote the horizontal/bushy growth. Sorry for all the questions. I just really want to make sure i have everything figured out before i commit fully to a scrog setup. Thx man

Thanks for stopping by.. well i started her off with a fim.. i then let those 4 branches grow about 22 inches and i place my screen down at about 19 inches.. so what ended up happening when i stretched each of her branches... towards a corner.. and the side branching at this point began growing upwards.. if you look at my timeline pic this page or last you could kinda see the process..

at first i trimmed off the lowest growth when i placed the screen down... i then let her fill the screen till she was about 60% full and as each branch would pop up about 3 inches i would then tuck her under the next square.. as i flipped to flower i took about a thrid of the lowest growth that i didnt think would make it through the screen by stretch i waited a few days then took off some more.. and so forth up until day 12... i then kinda let her beast out.. and did a major clean up at about day 21 after 12/12..

it does help promote growth above the screen..yeah i'm liking gettin' scroggy

Cool shit dude. I'm gettin really exited to try out this scrog stuff. Between having your grow and reggaerican's kicks and giggles grow to refrence, i think i can do this well. will start a journal once i get going. I'm waiting for my current girls to finish their flower, then i'm diving in head first. Thx for the help dude!
