Family has grown and shrunk. White Widow DIED ! thats twice now.. 2 different people. Hell maybe I'm just not meant to bother

These are both up and going well, seedlings. The OG was a below average looking seed, the worst of the pack of 6. The best is popped in hydro elsewhere

The Jack well they all looked the same basically all 5 looked great. Good on ya greenhouse. One has popped here and looks good, one has popped in the hydro too.


Sharksbreath was transplanted out.. so nice.. lush green, is near a foot tall (would be except bottom branches are at the ground level and will be cut off as clones when big enough

Hawaiian Snow is half a foot or so and going well, so was planted. Pumped some thrive into it today so will photo it soon, hopefully a bit greener. Not that it was THAT pale

PALE is the word for "Special Kush #1" which I hold little hope for. Royal Queen seeds ? I'll buy nothing from them. One of the free 3 packs I got had 2 WHITE seeds in it, which had a black embryo visible once they got nice and wet. None of the 3 in the pack popped. lol this one is pale as and I hope its not a sign of being crap. All the others are nice and green

Berry Haze (will be renamed Super Berry Haze if its good enough) started to crystal up and definitely had slight berry odor.. but the days are getting long now and it will realize. I cut the top off because I see lots of nice new shoots. Some don't have a pistil at all, good news. Should be in full grow mode for 5 months now

OG and Jack look good

White Berry looks great, just like its parent. Don't think I mentioned this plant before. Its a bag seed from a pure female hydro grow.. 3 nice seeds were found in 2 plants

The difference between the leaves on plant in pic 1/2 and 4 should be obvious. Its not White Berry, so it must be the cross I thought afterall. No doubt. Agreed?

It never showed any purple, yet smells like berry and the leaves look like the Super Lemon Haze plant I had. There was about a 2 week window when the SLH died off as the White Berry haired up looks like I hit first time. Hoping this has a great haze head high and tastes sweet berrry or lemonberry if so it could be a real keeper

Speaking of jack hererr I just ordered 2 packs of applejack (jackhererXw.widow) that should be great, two indoor harvests ago I had a local cut of Jack going from the main collective I go to, but I would be very interested to see what yours looked like, cause the one that I grew was kiinda fluffy, real light greenish color, not alot of hairs, almost no orange hairs but super, super frosty, taste was good but a bit harsh. I really want to see a grow of like sensi jack herer to compare what I had to it. Og kush was in my room just a few weeks ago, but sadly after about a month of battle I finally threw in the tail against a nasty spider mite infestation, first time Ive had to deal with mites and hopefully the last although I doubt it. One bonus of outdoor, find a good spot and you're mostly free of pests. Nothing too dangerous anyway

wow that slh bud you posted is literally dripping with resin, looks like the bomb!
i got 2 super lemon haze going right now, any advice for growing this strain, i heard it's good to top em as they get quite tall

I reckon get it pretty decent size then top once. Then flower it after the new shoots emerge a bit. I'd then remove 1 lowest set - great for making 2 clones or even remove another 2 more like Arjan (if the plant is tall enough) to ensure ALL the effort goes into the top colas not the bottom branches.

If it gets too high bend or snap it over they dont mind

Topping seems a must with SLH unless you are going to grow lots of plants with basically 1 big cola each.. this would be worth the work IMO, a sea of SLH mmm

Update

Chopped more of the newly named variety off, and smelled it. The berry smell is EXQUISITE and that was off a bit that didnt even have much (immature) crystal on it. Now depending on what it actually smokes like when done, it will be one of about 3 names or so
