Ummmm yeah... Do you have a hydro shop in your area? If you do I would suggest you go there and have them hook you up with some soil and nutes and if not read through this link first https://www.rollitup.org/newbie-central/1326-101-already-asked-questions.html. I'm only suggesting this not to be a smartass but trying to make sure you didn't waste money and time on plants that will just end up dying. Also many bookstores have books on growing if you find that easier. I believe in the crawl, walk, run approach which means that I read a shit ton of books and spent days reading articles on the internet, then I helped a friend with his grow before I decided to do my own. I can't imagine how sad my plants would look if I had treated them as 'just a weed.' The amount of grow journals on here that don't make it to harvest should be an indicator as to where a casual attitude toward growing can get a person.
thanks but the potting mix is a very good ph and has good water absorbtion but also lets it drain, it also has very good air movement.
so i dont need the nutes from soil they can come from the fertiliser instead
i'm growing one of these outside, right now she's about 4-5ft tall. just started flowering about a week ago. i topped her when she was about a foot tall so she's nice and bushy. we received our seeds around the same time but i'm pretty sure i waited a few weeks to start mine. i started mine in a 2 gallon bucket in an old gravel pit, i just dig holes for the buckets till there big enough to go in there permanent spots (2ft+). i usually have to wait for the farmers to do there thing cuz i use alot of corn fields for big girls (soy bean fields for autos ). anyway if your still around and growing yours i'd like to know how it's doing. i'll post a pic of mine before she's done if you'd like to see her. i've got a good selection of outdoor plants this year and i'd have to say out of the oldest batch she's the nicest one. not sure where your from but it's always a good idea to get em to at least there 7th set of leaves under a good light before you take em outside, and here in michigan i've found i can take them out like this all the way up to july 22nd and still have them finish outside.
