Today, exactly 24 hours i germinated the seeds they already popped for me. i dampen a piece of paper towel, put the seeds in between the towel fold over and put into a sandwich bag. Label the bag and put it under the cable box, that way heat emitted by the cable box adds humidity to the bag. I feel maybe the humidity helps aiding the germination process. Also keeping the bag underneath the cable box allows for the inadequate lighting required to germinate.

Today i took germinated seedlings and transported into a mixture of base Roots Organic and homemade wormcastings in the conventional red party cups. I did the three Super Lemon Haze and the auto-flowering haze freebie i got. the Gigabud are gonna wait the night over probably and go into cups first thing in morning. Earlier today i made up my own version of the super soil and added my own variables. I ended up with about 80% of a 34 gallon plastic tote. Now its in the back yard getting hit with this intense humid heat that we are gonna have until this storm hits us. So that'll bake for about two weeks before i have to transplant them and if they grown quicker than i assume they will then ill make the necessary transplant. But either way it'll bake for at least a week. I plan on using a interchangeable 1000wt MH/HPS with a digital ballast, the overall dimensions for the reflector is 25x18x8.5. Im gonna start the seedlings probably under CFL's then move into the Metal Halide for the end of vegging and then move into the High Pressure Sodium for flowering. :joint:

Little update, all the girls but one gigabud has popped out. all are seedlings, the three super lemons are taller than the giga's ("monster" is still using up all the protein and starch left in the seed), for myself that was expected. I have them all under two 105 watt 6500k cfl's. Im going to slowly integrate two more 105wt/6500k's 5 days apart. I put all the seedlings into a Roots Organic base w/ homemade worm castings. Its been 6 days since germination and they are averaging about an inch a piece, so far so good. heres a pic to get a look.

First week- Today is the first week after germinating my slh's and gigabud. one of the giga's have yet to completely pop out so i put a sandwich bag over the top and sprayed the shit out of it put it into my dark hot attic and am gonna let it sit for a day. Also i integrated another 105wt 2700k CFL to the other CFL giving me 315wts for 6 seedlings. Im going to move over to my 1000wt MH for veg soon. I made a grow box out of the reflector hood styrofoam box. came out pretty legit if i do say so myself. My super soil has been sitting and baking and the smell and consistency of it is wonderful. Has a hint of chocolate to it. I tool it out onto the tarp to do another cycle of mixing it up and adding a couple more things to it. Did ph, nitrogen, and phosphorus tests. Weird thing is, i have a surplus of nitrogen and a deficiency of phosphorus. i added more bone meal to it and my p levels should increase. Here are some pics
