Super Cropping & Topping Question

does this go for clipping clones too?
In theory yes. You most likely will not hurt anything if you chop a clone off a mother a week before flowering. the "rules" about gardening you hear are not set in stone. They are more words of thumb. Just use your best judgement and instincts. Listen to your plant she will tell you exactly what she wants. all you gotta do is get to know her :weed:

Haha thanks man.
It seems there is too much urgency in gardening these days.
urgency does not exist in nature. everything does what it is supposed to do at the pace is does it.
I think if a lot of people just calmed down about trying to get a plant to produce in 2 weeks and really took the time to pay attention to their plants and learn their plants, there would be a lot less urgent questions on this forum

This is very true, and if your worried about stress use some superthrive or thrive alive.

A good time to top or fim is when your baby has at least 4-7 nodes and super cropping should be done around the same time.

The reason you would not want to fim/top/S C 2 weeks before flowering is you want a full recovery before introducing the plants to 12/12 to lower the risk of stress and hermies.
Man that was perfectly what I needed to hear... Thank you for giving me something to work with. Once the new growth develops and becomes stronger can I supercrop those bud sites, wait a week and flower?

Or wait is supercropping (the point where you pinch and break), once that recovers it will become a bigger bud. Or is it any new growth above the break is on steroids? Shit I don't even know if that makes sense. Regardless, I really do appreciate your help.

Yes, this is where you pinch, but not break

Super Cropping should be carried out during the second or third week of vegetative growth and does stunt the plant. You should also note that plants that are Super Cropped can remain in the vegetative growth stage for twice as long as normal but the end result is a very bushy plant with multiple node regions that should all produce bud. Many growers have thrown Super Cropped plants away because they believed that the plants were not flowering in time. If you Super Crop your plants make sure that you have the patience to wait until the process is finished which — usually about four to six more weeks of vegetative growth.
