Im creating a journal to basically log my progress with these new strains. Since theres little to no info on them because theyre new (and attitude seeds 420 promo includes these) I figured it might help people who decide to plant them. As well as for me to better gage how long these plants really take to flower.
During this Im going to be testing different products because this is a perpetual grow. Im going to run the super buds for a long time since theyre doing so well and have a good height to yield ratio. Im trying to put different nutrients to the test (as much as one grower possibly can) to see who has the best bang for the buck in nutrient bases and suppliments. We all want the products that keep the plants the healthiest as well as bring in the quality and yield since they go hand in hand.
So off we go...
Strains:
10 Greenhouse Super bud (big budxskunk#1)
5 Greenhouse pure kush (purple og kush pheno)
1 Greenhouse Kalashnikova (white russian)
1 Pyramid Anastesia (northern lightsxblack domina)
1 G13 labs Sour candy (sour dieselxbubble gum)
Set up:
1-1000watt hps
1-400watt hps
2-70watthps
2-85watt cfl's 6500K
2-2'x4' black flood trays
2-27gal reservoirs
2-4''190cfm inline fan w/carbon filters
1-ozone generator
Nutrients&Suppliments:
1st flood tray-Technaflora:BC Boost, BC bloom, Awesome blossoms, Thrive B-1 red, Root-66, Sugar Daddy
2nd flood tray-Advanced Nutrients:Sensibloom Ph perfect (canadian 4-8-8 formula), Big bud, B-52, Nirvana, Bud candy, Sensizym (i know its pointless i just have extra from last grow)
Both flood trays are getting microbial suppliments since Im running a bio-hydro set up this time. Microbes for both are Advanced Nutrients:voodoo juice&Plant Success Great White
I normally dont give my plants any veg time so that I can keep them as short as possible, get a fast crop turnover, and to plant more smaller plants.
This grow Im letting all of the strains vegging for 5 weeks. Im going to let them achieve their full potential for the sake of being able to tell if the nutrients and suppliments are really doing something effective or if they are pointless. I can say for sure right now that sensizym, and all enzyme products are pointless unless youre growing in a soil/soiless mix that youre going to reuse for your next crop. I havent seen any noticable yield or quality differences with or without enzymes so Im only using sensizym because I have plenty from my last grow thats 1 week from finishing.
So for now here are the pictures that I have of my strains at 4 weeks veg.
I will note that the super buds do have this mutation where instead of having the normal 2 leaves with 2 internodes... they have 3 sets of internodes and 3 sets of leaves at every node site. I have seen this in skunks before and it always gave me a better yield because the buds form so tightly and so big.
