Ill be running 6 plants in 5 gallon buckets. This room was built by me in the corner of the garage, its 7x6 and has dedicated power, drywall, insulation etc. I spent over a grand on it including the 10k AC unit. I'm starting with 11 plants under a 600 watt at 50% They are peacock (ak47), and Bubba Cougar. Shit I've ran many times before. 12/12 till they sex then transplant and over to 18/6 and crank up the 600. They'll veg under the 6 and get topped probably 4 times each. When the 600 can handle them no more, 4 will get moved under the 1k and 2 will stay under the 6 and switch to flower.

I finally re-painted the walls, moved some cabinets around and mounted the ballasts on the wall. The little table will come out when its transplant time.

This vent in the wall is my passive intake, it pulls air from the pantry through negative pressure. Most of you know this shit but I figured I'd at least add a little info for some who may not!

I'm already not liking the soil just from what Ive seen with my seedlings so I might have to be on top of it more, certainly not as simple as just running the FFOF!

Happy to be along for the ride.

I started with FFOF and had great results for two grows.

I tried something else and had a terrible time (swamp -> gnats)

I am back to FFOF and Happy Frog, for the time being.

That is a professional setup. Very clean work.

Good luck,

I'm kind of on the fence on FFOF these days.
The best luck I've had with using a soil right out of the bag was with Black Gold "Natural & Organic".

Picked some up at Fred Meyer's garden center for half the cost of FFOF a few years ago, and had great results.
But I can never seem to find it when I need it, so I stay with FFOF as I know what it's capable of and have 3 or 4 different local sources ($18 a bag).
The wife & I will be composting lawn & food stuffs soon, so going to be getting away from buying soil all the time.

Its better to invest in good soil cause you wont have to feed hardly anything till the end. Just go get FFOF!!! Dont get Victory soil either I just recently tried it and it was a bitch.

Kelloggs Patio Plus had the water retention capability of a box of marbles.

Use it for outdoor grows.

I just realized Im a little presumptuous that Im gonna get 6 females out of 11 plants! I ran 14 once and had 13 males... that was a bad time. I'll probably throw a clone or 2 in there if I need to.

Oh and my other plants, I've still got 4 hanging. The 4 I've trimmed I'm averaging 1.5oz per plant so I'll double that 6oz yield from my previous grow. I still havent got to test any of the current stuff.

Fingers crossed you get your quota of females :-)
Sucks when only one is out of a big batch.

Soil is fairly recyclable too ;-) Iv been using the same batch for a few years now adding to it along the way.
Yepsidoodle!
Half of my current grow is recycled & re-amended FFOF from my previous grow.

Are you going to Mom a female?

Go hunt for the Skywalker Clone! Or other strains you might want to try.

No mom here. I dont know what I'm doing. Supersoil since 1954! Is really not impressing me! Maybe I can get another bag or two of something to mix with it. I cant buy all new FFOF though. My "used" soil was all used recently to fluff the concrete I mixed to pour around the fence base to keep the dogs in. Concrete mix goes a long way when you arent building structures and just need volume, I mixed a bunch of old potting mix into it.
