Sunlight needed in Flowering

Sorry, guess what I mean is, for bud development and growth. Is about the same for each stage? The sun that is, like for instance does the flowering stage require more sunlight than that of vegetative stage? For growth and buds. I might need to move them to a more shaded area because they are getting bigger. Would they be fine there with only ~4-5 hrs of direct sunlight per day? I was wondering if the plants actually did not as much direct sunlight? In flowering stage. Not 12/12 light dark ratio, but more in terms of sunlight needed for creating dense buds. I hope this is not hard to understand again.

Yeah I agree with tux anything less than about 4 or 5 hours of good direct sunlight and you will have trouble getting really dense/heavy nugs. I have lots of container plants that only get 4-5 hours a day sometimes less. Wish you the best of luck peace!
