I am wanting to upgrade my hoods to something bigger. I cant stop looking at the cobra hoods. They are big. They cost about the same as the magnum 8" ochos but the predator 6" is a bigger hood. Anyone run this hood or know much about it?

I don't know anything about either hood, but what size fan are you working with now? I would take that into consideration, running ducting reducers will increase noise and reduce cfm. Imo you should only use reducers if you must.
