Well, today I woke to my whole place reaking like weed.....I love the smell just not when I live in a shared building. I checked up and down the hallway and you can smell it from the front stairs entrance all the way back to the freight elevator.
Turns out my fan that was hooked to the carbon filter died sometime last night.....no negative pressure no smell proof tent. I rigged up a stanley blower for the time being until I find a solution. After rigging the blower up I mixed the most potent batch of pine sol mopping solution and began "spring cleaning" the whole damn floor....now it smells like pine dank .

Anyway, just got back from the hydro store.....small shop and times are tough....thus they are not stocking shit. Largest CFM inline fan they had was 430 or so.....I want double that or so as I plan on adding additional lights and would like to use one fan for the lighting as well as the scrubber. Guess I will be ordering something online......

Most all of the 32 oz. containers could have been pulled last night but I am going to wait....maybe another week -10 days.....dunno....will let the plants tell me. Last run I pulled them at 59, 61, 63 and 67 days.......when all was said and done the ones that went 67 were best.

The A.I. are just going crazy mutant.....they drink ungodly amounts of water. I have noticed that they are much more fragile in the stem area, they are like hollow straws compared to all the other strains. Right now they are drinking about 2 gallons of water every 2 days while the other strains may only need 2 gallons every 4 or so.

The trainwreck and cheese are both growing slower than the A.I. and both are showing noticably less stretch. Both have tight node spacing with the bud production coming on much quicker with the trainwreck.

I will shoot some pics tonight when lights come on.

I should have been prepared, I told my wife a week ago I needed to order a new inline as well as a half dozen or so clip on air kings......it will get done now.

Quick update while the servers are up....

Start of week 9 for the cups.....

I really need to pull them as I need the space but I want to let them go as close to 70 days as possible. I may start selectively harvesting them starting tomorrow.....but I know for sure at least 6 or so need to go another week or so.



The left side of the room......I don't even want to go there. I need space and more light.



Close up of the A.I., tight node spacing and it seems that buds are actually developing.....I wont keep my hopes up.

Those clip on air kings really do the job. I need a couple more and will get some more today, especially after reading this.

If you search online (don't know if linking to products are ok here) you can find them as cheap as 15.00 each with free shipping over 75.00.....beauty of it is that it comes from a home improvement type store....not a hydro store. I think I will order 6 and an inline fan. 4 for the flower room and 2 for the veg area.....can't beat the warranty either.

I hate having to cover up smell rather than remove it....but I had to do what I had to do.....all worked out. It still smells a bit in here as the fan I rigged is not cutting it.....next week all should be well.

I did pull 2 of the 32 oz. cups last night.....2 reasons.....they were "close enough" at 63 days but more importantly I was able to squeeze the remaining dozen or so on 1 tray.....freeing up some valuable space as I removed the second tray.

** NOTE ON WEIGHT **

All I have is a postal scale....I do not sell it, I have no concern over uber accurate weight. The scale measures in oz and 1/10's....so if you see 4.5 that is 4 and a half oz. not 4 oz. 5 grams. Also.....since this is all personal I trim tight and remove most all stem.....so my weights are fully cleaned and ready for jar....not on stem. Yes, the Tupperware has been tared.

• 4.6 oz

I will update the wet weight tally as they are pulled......I will give a dry weight total for all plants after they all hit the jars.

I took a sneak peak as lights went off this a.m. and the cups look like they are getting close. The color of the buds have changed overnight......have that finished look to them. I will pull a few tonight and see where the rest stand tomorrow.

The seeds I have waiting in the wings are not fairing well.....seems one of my packs must have been old as they are not germinating.....the others from a different pack have germinated already.
Again, I am done with GHS......

I will get some better photos tonight as I plan on stripping the room down and scrubbing it out.

Time for another proper update......

Day 68 of flower for cups.....dunno what day at this point for the others....they will get pulled when they get pulled.

The cups are looking good, they continue to stack calyx's and get frostier by the day. I pulled 3 yesterday as they had the start of bud rot going....nothing major at all maybe a gram or two total.....need more fans. Wet weight was 4.3, 3.6, 5.1....running total update:

• 3.1 oz
• 4.2 oz
• 4.6 oz
• 4.3 oz
• 3.6 oz
• 5.1 oz

The balance will be harvested sometime this weekend....maybe longer.













Trainwreck and Cheese are doing well, they will benefit for sure once I can get the tray of cups out.

The A.I., where do I begin......Looks like I have a mutant, 1 keeper and a leggy bitch. The mutant has 14" buds already....instead of stacking they are building all wispy......it will probably get chopped early. The keeper has decent bud formation, decent node spacing......will see how it smokes. The leggy one will most likely get chopped as well.



I have had limited success with cloning these GHS fem seeds.....the last two batches I took were from the Cheese and Trainwreck. These were taken a few weeks in to flowering and both have rooted fine.....seems fem seeds may be finicky with nitrogen. Anyway, here are a few trainwreck clones, they will go in to trays in the next week or so.

I am disappointed in the A.I., they should not have released it for sale as there is no consistency to any of the plants. The other issue is germination.....looks like 2 of my packs were old.....out of 10 seeds only 1 germed. Cloning seems to be a fem seed issue and not a GHS issue.....don't get me wrong..>GHS USED to be the shit.......since Arjan took over the whole operation it seems flashy marketing and profits reign over all.

I am loving them too.....will love them more when they are hanging......been such a pain in the ass balancing them.....stakes don't do much as the cups are just too top heavy. Next run will be much better

A rooted clone, some perlite and some light.....seriously though. Small containers rock.....they just need more attention, care and water.

Those cups are amazing!!!!!!!!!!! pretty good reason to move to a hydro set up huh?

Please, dont give up on any of the AI yet! My wispy one ended up yielding 8 bone dry (for rick simpson oil) and the other one that looked less than stellar did 6 (no huge colas just lots of nice medium nugs.) The smoke from both is amazing - almost dangerous. Unfortunately, I didnt get a clone from either, but they each had a branch hermy (never found any male flowers though) and gave me a couple seeds.

As far as cloning - I suck at it and bought a daisy cloner - looks like I'll have 100% and it doesnt distract me like the other methods did. I bought the 12 site and put 3 cuts in most and 2 in the others. It looks like every one of them will make it.

p.s. - the wispy ai was the easiest to trim - just run your pinched fingers down each stem!

lookin good ship! the ai is a sucky grow but bangin bud so at least it wont be a total waste im bout to cut my trainwreck down next weekand i snipped myself a preview (i was outta bud and my billion dollar check hasnt cashed yet lol) just cut a bottom branch wit enough for a fatty,trimmed and threw it in the micro maaaaaaaan me and my wife were cookin! i couldnt believe it! the wreck taste was faint but the hi was not! i think your in for a treat my friend
