Sun Charged Water The Best Nutrient Both For Plants And Humans.

alright, but im saying most people arent chemists and dont think about what they are righting as long as it sounds right and makes sense, which every single person on this forum has made sense with it. I mean you got what they were trying to say.
Sure which is why I prefaced my statement with " it is used correctly in most of these posts". I wasn't trying to belittle any commenters. I was simply trying to point out a red flag that almost always indicates pseudoscience. When someone tries to scientifically explain a claim, and misuses a basic scientific word such as energy, they probably don't know what their talking about.

You mention that most people "dont think about what they are righting as long as it sounds right and makes sense" Skepticism addresses exactly that fact. Often things can sound right and make sense, while also not being true at all. This is why the scientific method was developed. To try to reach the truth while acknowledging and avoiding mistakes of logic, perception and memory.

Your links lead to nothing scientific. Science has strict rules about what can be considered evidence, for good reason. If you want to give your plants special water go ahead, but don't make claims that it's proven until you understand what the word "proven" means in a scientific context. At the very least there should be peer-reviewed double blind tests with replicable results. If you can't link to that then you are just linking to opinions. You can say my idea that it doesn't work is just an opinion, but thankfully the burden of proof falls to the person making the claim.

No need to argue its a matter of physics
Nothing has been shown that this is true

If u think it wont work U LOOSE
Wouldn't it be great if saying stuff like that helped us win arguments?

Grow your super mega high thc% Buds with whatever u think will work..The Better The Thinking The Better The Quality Of Your Product
- again no studies have ever shown that positive or negative thinking has any direct effect on reality. I could decide arsenic is good for mega buds, and really believe it in a positive way, doesn't mean it's true.

Giving "sun charged" water to your plants probably wont cause any harm, but when you adapt this way of thinking you certainly risk putting yourself in danger, just like the people who starved to death trying to follow the sun-eater.

i will upload a video dudes u will listen to the guy :) got nothing more to say.I've tried it it works.... Don't polute water with "tea".Try it.U think that i am the average american wacco that trusts in god and gives 200 $ for becoming the king course. So dont mess me with this guys.I am not AMERICAN :)Fuck Jesus.Mohamed or whatever u call it :) I am not even an atheist cause i hate religion.... and its vicious ways to misslead people and take their cash. Sungazing is free
it cures deceases and its proven by scientists. They have observed this guy for 200 day watching him no eating 24/7 and everything was going fine with him even better than normal people.Do u know why u cant believe me. Cause u cant imagine the world without McDonalds Kfc. All american food countains POISON + MODIFIED CORN .... Cool Huh?. U ever heard of iris-diagnostics. So if they can tell every decease u suffer or had ever suffer only by your iris ? Its proven ask your MD. Eyes are like ports for cosmic energy. Every human learns shit mostly by his eyes. Here is the site of this guy check it if u want he is not a GURU he is just a regular guy.. http://en.wikipedia.org /wiki/Hira_Ratan_Manek

Im not trying to make u do this.It is not religion just a practice. U think yoga does not work either ? Try it and see for your self. .... It works for me i feel more energetic and eat like 1/4 of what i ate before and i never get i down. Smoking weed exausts the body in order to enchance the mind. So if u normaly can boost your mind with 1 g of finest weed before your body crashes. Now my body can endure like 3-4 grams .... U never get highest if your being cant endure it .

This is certainly the kind of misleading bullcrap pseudoscience for those intelligent enough to not believe in religion but not intelligent enough to stop finding some other kind of paranatural phenomena. As a biomedical sciences student, I assure you sunbathing or staring is not what is keeping him alive, it is the buttermilk water tea and coffee that keep him alive. Humans do not photosynthesize and energy is not obtained from it. It is possible that trace amounts of energy are absorbed and this can be trained but very far away from human sufficiency. Also, heating water in the sun is the same as heating water in any other way.
Misleading pseudoscience based on the fact that "sun brings about life" and that sun is beneficial for you in the sense than your skin produces vitamin D and some other body chemical reactions occur in the skin.
It is good to be open minded but not good to be a bit dumb at the same time.

This is a good example of critical thinking. Doubt leads to wisdom. Good job Creek.

And BTW, yes, ppl do buy bottled water that is said to be charged. It's not usually "sun-charged" but rather, most of it is 'emotionaly charged'. In other words, some spiritual guru guy sits and chants over the water and thinks good thoughts, and that 'positive energy' is supposed to be imprinted into the water. There is also just about every variation of special water. Hell, homeopathy is nothing but magic water and it's a million dollar business. Homeopathy takes a substance, puts a tiny tiny amount in the water, dilutes it thousands and thousands of times (till no trace of the original substance is left in the water, not one molecule) and then claims the water will 'remember' what it's supposed to do. This is why skeptics will eat entire boxes of homeopathic sleeping pills during lectures, to show that they are nothing but sugar pills.

Do I put on my tin foil helmet before, or after, I set the water out in the sun?
Hahaha.

Nutrients are just fine.. i love them too :) .Try this grow one plant with suncharged water and other with nutrient water :).Its fine even to mix the sunwater but after it is charged not before. cause ionization cant occur with high halogen levels.
Halogen levels? Please explain.

And that dude hasn't eaten anything since 10 years ago?? LMAO.

You are basically defending ignorance with more ignorance, while accusing others of having a closed mind, which makes you a hypocrite as well.

you know, in the first 3 pages of this thread, i really REALLY wanted to rip on you hard for the things you say Abysmal. your spelling is atrocious, you seem to think that Mayans were wiped out due to being like christians (which is no where NEAR why they were wiped out, i dont even know where to begin about how wrong this is), and you do indeed back all of your ignorance up with more ignorance. you talk all this hate about religion, but you speak very much like someone who is religious. when science proves something you say is wrong you find some other bullshit scientifically false (or untested) theory that is somehow supposed to just rectify and prove your original idea.

but instead, thats all the ripping i am going to do. instead, i have advice. and that advice is: open your mind. i get that you THINK that your mind is open, judging by your wild bullshit ideas. but, when you say things like 'feeling pity to some1 ,that has grow room, dank or even electricity and internet,-quite offensive.. and unright..' your mind isn't as open as you think. just because someone grows pot, has electricity or internet, does not mean they are not deserving of pity. in fact, i would say that i've met more people i pity on the internet than i have in person, and that includes you.

i do pity you. because you probably truly believe what you are saying. you probably believe that this shit is real, and that its legitimate. you probably actually think those indian guys haven't eaten in over a decade. truth is, most of these stories have been scientifically dis-proven, and found that they were lying. the ones that haven't been proven as false, are only still accepted as true because the said person wont let anyone near them long enough to actually document them to an extent that proves their lack of a need for nutritional sustenance. just because something hasn't been dis-proven, doesn't make it real. Noah's Ark hasn't been dis-proven, but i have some real fucking problems with that story.

just like the bible these things are stories, and need to be taken with a grain of salt. i am not sure if you would understand such a thing since you consider atheism a religion, but that's not a particular debate i care to take part in (some atheists hate the idea of calling themselves religious, others embrace it). i am agnostic, if there is a god, if there isn't a god, whatever, i wont follow blindly and frankly the difference it would make on my day to day life would be minimal since i consider myself a decent and moral individual. but what does matter, is how you read and understand peoples 'beliefs'. i am perfectly fine with people stating their beliefs, and even telling others about them (if they want to hear, and a forum is a great place for this). what i am not ok with, is people claiming that their beliefs are facts, even in the face of scientific fact. Christians will tell you that EVERY species was on that damn boat, or that all 6.5B of us humans came from one man, and a woman made from his rib. us it scientific fact? fuck no, no where near. believe it all you want, it doesn't make it true.

i would love to find an article on this to actually state some facts on sun charged water, but unfortunately no matter how i word it, google only brings up a bunch of sites that are filled with your fellow 'sun-gazers' beliefs and practices, with no relevant scientific information offered. so i guess this ends a bit differently than i thought.

in my mind, you and your compatriots are witch doctors claiming false cures (and unfortunately also false hope) for people, at worst. at best, your just another cult (or religion, use the word that is to your liking).

You have the mentality of a school yard bully. You think that insulting people helps you win arguments. You think laughing at others makes you seem clever. Meanwhile it never occurs to you that you eat food everyday. You also like to pick and choose which points to address... like ignoring the people who have starved to death trying to be sun eaters, or the fact that sun eaters who were tested failed. Any one which offers a different opinion from you is immediately thought of as stupid and part of the scam machine, and then told to go away. It must be a really sad and scary world you live in, but hey, at least you are smarter than everyone else.

Ad hominem - An ad hominem argument is any that attempts to counter another's claims or conclusions by attacking the person, rather than addressing the argument itself. (in other words, insulting someone doesn't effect whether their argument is right or wrong)

Occam's Razor - The explanation which requires the fewest assumptions is usually correct. It is senseless to do with more what can be done with less. (in other words which sounds more plausible... people eat the sun and nothing else for 10 years, or people lie about eating the sun for 10 years?)

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof

Bottom line is despite numerous requests for proof, and genuine attempts to explain why we don't believe, you are still in the same position you were when you started this thread... which is... "it works and if you dont believe me you are stupid". My 4y/o neice can make that argument.

KlosetKing - What you were basically trying to say is that the burden of proof is on the person making the claim. If religious people want to claim Nohas Ark was real, the burden falls to them to prove it, not to us to disprove it.
