Sun-Associated Droop

Is this heat stress?
My Purple Trainwrecks (mendo purp x tw) specifically are having a hard time out in the sun. They taco a bit, and I’m not worried about that, sometimes a lightening of the tips of leaves. But they heavily droop quickly if I keep them in direct sunlight for long. So I started keeping them in the shade pretty much most of the day in our weeklong 85-90 degree weather.

I don’t have any glaring signs of overwatering. I gave 1/2gal of water when I transplanted a week ago and it’s still pretty moist since they may have gotten some nightly showers since then. It’s 50/50 ffof and promix bx with organic supplements, 10 gal smartpots.

But now I’m noticing that this strain specifically will droop in cooler temps, 70-80 in the morning. In fact I timed it - 30 minutes in the morning sun today and the undersides expose themselves in what seems as an attempt to gtfo of the light (photo included).

We also have some weeklong overcasts so perhaps it’s not adjusted to the light intensity? All of my plants have been in the sun since they were wee seedlings so I’m a bit confused.

I appreciate your time and any advice. Thanks!

Not heat stress. Wind most likely. Don’t worry about it. Don’t overwater. I have some doing the same here in Alaska.
